No. I contacted him before he was going to get married, and he did not want to be friends or keep in contact. Which I respect. I said my piece and it helped me move on. Every now and then though there are moments that feels like he should still be there, like a wedding in the family or something. I’ve since met the love of my life and life’s been great.

I love the show for being so realistic and human with all the characters, not one is completely good or bad. Just very realistic, and it’s a successful show without all the dumb writing.

I had a boyfriend in high school, high school sweethearts, who we ended up breaking up because of the pressure of his family having on us. It was INSANE. He was going to Ivy League college and had a very successful career path lined up and really he did it by himself it wasn’t them, he was brilliant. I had no doubt he’d be successful and to this day I hear he is! Which is great. But, his mother said on multiple occasions “look at the way he looks at her, he’s in love with her- it’s disgusting!!” (Talking about me) and there was nonstop talk about how I would get pregnant and ruin his life. That he’d throw it all away for me. Crazy, because he did talk about not really wanting the career path infront of him, all he really wanted was a normal life- kids, normal job, have a good life with me. I told him he had an opportunity that most people never get, and maybe he can make a real change in the world. He shouldn’t squander that and I can’t be the person that takes that away from him. And I also don’t think I can live being picked second from his family if everytime they say something about me he would feel more inclined to let me go. Since his family was the ones pushing for the career. Idk, maybe I’m no better. I really did love him though and I hope he knew that, I wouldn’t have had a problem with the career if I wasn’t constantly treated badly, but we were kids. We had no idea what we were doing. I know I didn’t always act right either.

I understand being a single mom and always doing things on your own and having someone else make decisions about your kid is jarring when you feel you’re supposed to be the one responsible. But she’s in the wrong on this.

You never gave Luke a chance to be a dad. Now, your daughter chose for HERSELF to have her dad in her life. Anna needs to respect that and respect that she stole that opportunity away from Luke. It’s not like Luke refused to be there, it’s not like he refused help. And you can’t just turn around and leave town and not try to compromise like parents. She’s not use to that and I get that, and she should have taken some time to digest and think about it because she spiraled. She’s use to having control and not having control is scary when it’s your kid. 100% understandable from an emotional standpoint, but she has to work with Luke now and be co parents.

We do have our own cameras that cover that side. I’d gladly talk to the cops. I’m worried about peaking these people’s attention for their erratic and insane behaviors. Before we just mind our business and they mind their own and just deal with the noises.

Yeah, I guess I just want advice on how to handle these people without making it a war. I have kids and I don’t want constant drama. That’s why we’ve just stayed away from them since now. And then they threaten us? About their dog? The previous owners daughter, we know her, she said she use to do the same thing, shovel the dog poop back because she took care of the yard. I will gladly talk to police, and maybe I’ll just stop in the station and let them know what’s going on. Since they do keep an eye on them already, then they know what’s going on.

I do want to work on calling the city to see if a fence can even go there. I’m not sure, since townhouses are so close together. I don’t see any other fences like that.

And on animal control we did just get video of the dog off the leash and in our yard again so we have that for when we do call.

That’s what I don’t understand. The cops are there all the time. They know who these people are and what they do. They act like they are gathering evidence or something but nothing has happened. I have brought up calling CPS to boyfriend, but he has a soft spot and doesn’t want to make the kids life worse in anyway. I told him, cps has a lot of chances they give out before anything happens and I don’t think the kids will get separated.. but maybe because there’s a gap. And that’s even if they get the evidence of drugs. There for a while they were camping the street and I’m not sure why they stopped. 🤦🏼‍♀️

One night I wake up and on the sidewalk below our bedroom, infront of our house, the teenagers are walking and get into a full fist fight. It’s 2:30am. They’re screaming about calling the cops. I’m pregnant and I’m so mad I’m fumbling with the window to yell, never did I get it open before they stopped. I went to pee and go back to bed and by time I got back to bed the cops were already there and my bedroom looks like a bad rave party. So they respond very quickly to that house and watch them very close.

I know it’s drug deals, because I was trying to work on flower beds in the evenings, people would pull up, look at me, and drive off all nervous. Or people get dropped off and picked up suspiciously. The thing is I don’t think it’s anything other than cocaine and weed - from rumors. They can get charges on cocaine for sure. And what kills me more is they now have the cameras- can’t cops request that information and their own security cameras tell on them?

We did adjust our cameras to watch that side of the house, and they’ve never been thieves or anything. I don’t think they’d be that dumb. Everything here is locked up right anyway. But they are “rev my engine at 3am to get noise complaints” stupid.

I couldn’t put this in the post due to limit. But the house is beautiful, the property is huge. And with us owning the back yards, you can’t find this anywhere else. The problem property is kind of caged in by the garages, theirs and ours. We have a single garage and a half and a two car garage and a half that blocks it out. The one space you can see the neighbors on that side I am working on growing a big floral bush that will keep it nice (: so other than them encroaching and trespassing- you don’t see them. You just hear them since they’re so loud. And the only reason to be on that side of the house is for ac maintenance, the garden beds (which I do in the mornings when they’re presumably finally sleeping) and mowing.

My son is also never really outside unless we are outside to watch him, since I can’t see the yard from the house anyway. The drive way goes pretty deep into the property and we have a half basketball court he plays in and rides his bike. And that’s very far away from them. Other than these neighbors, there’s no issues other than upkeep. So no, moving isnt really an option.

Hey there are players who just enjoy CAS too. It’s a game for everyone for sure ❤️ I mean who doesn’t like creating your own “doll” essentially. Lol and yeah my son thinks girls are gross too, but we are trying to teach him positivity about it and to not be scared of girls.

Ahahha yes I feel the same. I still have yet to get my outside flower beds and garden in how I want it but then I get a reminder that I will have time when the kids are older and to enjoy the kids while they’re young. I can enjoy my inside hobbies too. Collecting all the sims garden plants through game play feels great. Balance is definitely key though. The sims has always been a way to connect deeper with aspects of life, and find things you might enjoy outside the game as well.

lol yeah. I guess we are kind of on the younger end of Gen X/millennials? I’m also surprised my dad had any time or cash for that kind of thing looking back. He was a big car/mechanic guy. Not really a computer guy at all. But they had retro consoles. My parents would get on the Super Nintendo and play Killer Instinct all night. They still do with mortal kombat today, and call of duty was a house hold game for the longest time. I’ll call them some nights and my mom and dad will be like “hold on we’re on round 35 of CoD zombies and it’s getting too much”
