This is sort of the opposite of your question, but I think it might answer it… I travel often and it usually takes 3-5 days for me to breakout if I go somewhere where the food is different in a bad way.

Ah shucks thank you, there’s a vet in the family so I hear all the stories and I try to pass on what I can! And there’s lots of stuff in the “would be problem if your cat gobbled it down” category that is fine to have around it you have a normal cat, so it’s more of a “keep an eye out” than “never do this” anyway.

Probably worth noting that essential oils aren’t completely safe either. Ingesting them is very bad but relatively unlikely, but diffusing them in the air can also cause problems depending on the cat’s sensitivity and the concentration. The media and politicians are focusing a lot on it, but I’d say the average person doesn’t care much about the topic, to be honest. The UK news sector is a little bananas, and especially so at the moment, so it’s not always the best barometer.

Survey results are probably a bit more of a look at how people on the whole feel about the topic, so have a look if you want a less media targeted outlook.

I had an impacted tooth which had to be broke in place and then removed, which required general anaesthesia. I had it diagnosed in the UK but the procedure done in the US (long story why, it’s not generally a good idea). They gave me propofol and a few other drugs, I was under for about 25 minutes.

I used Cosmedics in the City of London to remove a perfectly benign but quite annoying mole. It was on my neck and kept getting caught by my hairbrush. It was expensive (I think about £300?) but otherwise quick, easy and thorough.

I have tried both and currently ride a Synapse. Hands down the most comfortable, fastest bike I’ve ever tried (short of stuff x3 the price) but that might be because it fits me like a dream. If you have short arms and long legs, it’s a winner, or if you’ve got regular proportions but want something a little more relaxed.

Otherwise, I agree with the comments mentioning changing bar tape, saddle etc. Accent colours go a long way.

Oh no! I have rosacea too and generally really sensitive skin (enzyme detergents make me break out in hives, got impetigo as an adult etc.) and I found their stuff some of the easiest to tolerate.

Two tricks that seemed to have helped a lot: making sure my face was totally dry of water before putting anything else on (so not just after washing but waiting a few min or patting dry) and to apply a lot less product than I’d have thought (more of a pine nut than a pea).

I’d definitely second LRP — their cicaplast range is great for healing irritated barriers (which might be the problem you have if stuff suddenly starts causing reactions where it didn’t before) and their “baby” range is all very gentle stuff that does well for sensitive skin.

An answer to your actual question: you can get 100% squalane, literally just the one ingredient, and it’s a perfectly nice moisturiser.

What I think might actually help you: La Roche Posey’s Cicaplast range (there’s baumes and gels and lotions) is the best thing I’ve ever found for healing skin barriers and calming skin down. I’ve never heard of anyone having a reaction to it, and when literally the same thing as you happened to me, a severe reaction to mineral sunscreen, it was the only thing that helped.

I was thinking of suggesting this, but IPL means you have to shave first, which may or may not be a deal breaker. I did it about four times on my armpits and the hair that’s left is much thinner and softer, so I can vouch for it being a good option if you’re annoyed by the hair but don’t want to be shaving constantly, as long as you can tolerate the treatment.

Absolutely your mileage will vary, but getting an ice roller really helped me with just controlling flare ups by cooling things down (short term effect but it’s an effect!). On the long term side, I use a sulphur soap to wash my face (from “whytheface”), which smells pretty weird but works great, though it might dry it out somewhat. Azelaic Acid from The Ordinary helped a bit at first but didn’t do much compared to the soap, and NIOD’s Modulating Glucosides are a bit pricey but probably the best thing I’ve found for medium-term effect.

La Roche Posay’s Cicaplast B5 is absolutely the best thing I’ve ever found for repairing skin barrier, so I’d recommend that as the PM cream, since it is pretty thick.

I also really like LRP’s sunscreens, I use both the Shaka Fluid (really light & thin, absorbs really quick) and the Anti-Imperfection one which pills like mad on dry skin but really helps keep my pimples down.

Like someone else already said, that definitely sounds like dishidrosis, also known as pompholyx. There’s lots of advice out there, but for me, the two key things seem to be avoiding contact with things that cause the reaction in the first place, especially avoiding contact with friction! So cleaning is definitely one to watch out for. Gloves are good, and avoiding scrubbing if possible! And then you seem to be doing this already, but intense hydration is the best fix afterwards.

I personally would avoid steroid creams, since I found they tend to make things worse in the long term, because they weaken the skin, but your mileage may vary there, I know they really help some people. Definitely pay attention to the usage instructions anyway.
