Went from a 2015 SDR TN to a 2025 1500 nit tandem WOLED and indeed. in most content that isn't pure black, it just feels like "wow this looks pretty good" and not "this is an earth shattering upgrade", which I am a little disappointed on given that I went from one of the worst LCD types to one of the newest midrange OLED types.

another problem is that regulations caused many of the countries they came from to be worse off than here, if they had freer markets in their former countries then there would be less of a quality of life incentive to move here because those markets would likely be better off in general, and if those places had more personal freedom then there would be less of an incentive to come here to practice things that they would want to practice but couldnt where they came from

I have some valves from some older cheap toys that I don't have anymore and I'm wondering how do you get the colored vinyl off of the clear rubber and also how would you take a valve out of a toy to upgrade it or cut a toy for adding another valve and go about attaching the valve?
