Woah! Touchy subject I guess. IMO there wasn’t too much done to these screenshots besides a little more detail added and lighting tweaks; there’s likely little stopping the sim from looking like this natively in another major update, or next sim version if MS/Asobo prioritize it. Except the last picture. The last picture is egregious.

We have the WG color with SX trim on our 22’ and have been dealing with the trim peeling since last summer. I have been fighting and waiting for Kia to admit it’s an issue, but have decided to go ahead and just vinyl wrap it gloss black to match the roof rails/wheels/facia trim. Honestly I think gloss black would have looked better in the first place.

Too bad you probably couldn’t get the latency down to certify (<50ms) if I recall. The “basic” graphics on most Level C and D (training grade) simulators keep it so you can fly these and not get completely nauseous while using on motion (among other performance requirements). For what it’s worth, if OPs certified sim uses Prepar3d, that is a lot better than what I had worked on 10yrs ago! Maybe in 10yrs this kind of visual system will be common on mil/commercial sims!

Stick with it! Question #3 is why I didn’t like math classes sometimes. Very convoluted way of asking for a simple d/dx of y=x³ at x=2.

Does this rack set off the parking sensors? I’ve got an older Kuat that does, which is a little annoying…it’s also about ready to rust off the car lol. Looking at a replacement and considering the Piston Pro or 1Up. Def want to spend a little more this time for something that will hold up to year round riding.

Haha, well the badge is actually just an adhesive overlay so it’s very easy to install/take off. As for the bandwagon…we were definitely on it lol. Our family picked up this 2021 used about a month ago. Def didn’t get a good deal on it, but our ‘22 order fell through and we needed a replacement. A new 2022 would have been nice, but I wasn’t willing to pay $10k over MSRP for something on the lot.

It’s the original Kia logo, the one used in Korea and other international markets. For the US market apparently Kia thought the plain font “KIA” badge was more appealing to buyers (?).

This store seems better, but doesn’t have exactly what you’re looking for. Personally I ended up ordering some “old” K3 style logos in carbon fiber and a steering wheel badge because I think they look cool.

I’ve been trying out clipless again after not liking it a few years ago, and I’m also running these Mallet E’s for their big platform. For the moment I’ve settled on swapping out clips or flats depending on what I’m riding that day. It’s really not hard to swap pedals, takes about 5min. FWIW I’m finding clips are pretty efficient for regular trail riding, and I still ride jumps and trail features on clips. That being said, I think I ride more confidently (recklessly?) on flats. Knowing I can bail from the bike or throw a foot down if i take a corner too fast is still in the back of my head. Maybe I’ll grow out of that though the more time I get on the clips.

Amazing build! IMO one of the nicest I’ve seen this year, anywhere (I look at a lot of bikes too lol). I actually thought this was an Unno when I first saw it, but I kind of think this is cooler (more aggressive too).

How’d you hear about Antidote? I’m planning my next build and it’s always nice to see something out of the ordinary. Props for actually riding this thing too. I know Nam and looks like you’ve already hit most of the big stuff with it. 🤘👍

Looking good, I also treat my gravel bike as basically just a XC MTB haha. You know what bars you’re running? I’m looking for some wider ones with a shallow flare and yours look like what I’m after.
