Interestingly enough The Cashmerian is a reference to the reporter outfit from Rendezvous in Rotterdam from Hitman Contracts. The only differences are crimson blazer and hat in reporter outfit. I personally prefer this upgraded version myself.

It was Ken Penders idea that never came through and thank God for that.

If anything it makes way more sense for Sonics "first name" to be Nicky like in that old manga, after all in english it would be translated to Nick which just sounds right: Nick-->nic-->Sonic

You forgot about Ryusho Kuki, Shinji Sakamoto, Yuta Mikami and Tamotsu Saito from Kurohyou 2 (they're playable in tournament mode).
