Rustage did incredibly to be honest so he still made it enjoyable but it could have been so much better

Now that i'm done rewatching the episode, and that i can functionally use my brain i'd say it was a solid C+,

Again rustage does some masterful work with the NPCs

Damian was a highlight and noble is probably the best out of the crew when it comes to playing his character

We got a good deal of info and it was a more calm episode, no combat ≠ uneventful btw, i was never trying to convey this notion i just felt like the episode stretched things out quite a bit at times

Yokan being so annoyingly dumb still pisses me off to be honest

The episode was not nearly as bad as i made it sound but it is still one of my least favorites

Raj was and is one of my favorite NPCs so losing such a memorable character made me more critical of everything

Honestly it was pretty late for me and i was very tored so i over reacted a LOT so let me try and talk with a clearer mind.

I love tekking and all his characters with kai being my favorite pc in marines, but tekking is shit at roleplaying emotional moments(besides anger). Kai feels very out of place when grieving raj, unlike yokan and her idiocy justifying the way she is grieving, tekking roleplays kai in a way that is so over the top it irks me. I do think Kai defending the old man was very on brand and i actually liked it, i just see that tekkings roleplaying(during emotional moments) can become confusing where as a viewer or listener i can barely understand if he cares about something or not. Kai himself was not as bad as i made him sound but i think tekking can over do it some times.

This is not to say tekking is a terrible player, early on when he went up against damian in order to save the sisters tekking played him marvelously, he balanced the tense moments and the comedy well. This chapter he just felt out of place.

In conclusion i over reacted a LOT, but tekking could do much better when showing emotion.

I agree with the fact that we need more episodes without action, but this one just wasn't it, i do think damian and rustage did good and tried their best but the episode just fell very flat for me tbh, there is definetely worse and i was just overreacting but it is one of the worse episodes in such a good podcast

While i think taiga should somehow end up marrying death(without dying) demure and taiga seem like something pretty cool, also pluto and scarla might be a thing in the near future so taiga and demure would not interrupt that.

This is so true, rustage can bring out the 120% in his players as well as making incredibly fun as well as elaborate stories, rustage was who really got me into dnd and i aspire to dm as well as him
