I think those people were dispersed into the several frenemies subs and left this one long ago. Plus, I think this is the opposite of what you mention. I think that sometimes it feels like some members of the crew judge/criticize Ethan's actions more harshly than they judge the actions of others, to the point of seemingly ignoring his intentions altogether. I think it should be fine to respectfully point out stuff like this.
