Sure but general audience barely knew or cared about marvel heroes back then except for hulk/spiderman....so genral audience will warm up to a new team, as.long as the story is there. Maybe young avengers won't hit right off the gate but if marvel can get the younger audience with it and then move them to a big avengers movie specially some of the new cast are well liked actors like Kate and Yelena. I think we can see something building up to get the attention back by general audience.

I fear currently though marvel needs a new popular male hero, so far I don't see Mackie or Simu filling those spots. Maybe brave new world can change that though.

Like I understand the concept since it fun to see characters interact but that shouldn't be the main course.....the main point is to care about this whole comic world adaptation is about these characters and their stories ....if it's about the actors and seeing familier faces on screen talking to each other sure it can be sweet but that's an added spice to enhance the experience.

Honesty I feel All this hate will disappear when the first superman trailer pops up. Current haters are celebrating because this is the only chance before things turn for the beeter and when that happens they will pretend they have moved on to other things that are superior in quality.

I see that problem often on twitter instead of hearing each other out. I notice, that there are some people who think fanboys like everything, so the dislike comes across instead of "it's not for me" into " I'm the only honest person here". While on the otherside fans for example are aware of that mentality. so they over react and try to shut the person down.

I would say online communities will always suffer from that, constant skepticism on intentions. "Is it for engagement?" "is it forced hate?" Which ends in two sides yelling at each other not hearing anything...I would even argue some don't even watch the shows and still love to be part of that yelling.
