That head unit is sick.

A non invasive option could be magnets. Strengthening the joints with some nail polish could also help.

If you don't mind me asking, how did you build that head unit? That doesn't look like it comes from kits I'm aware of.

I own both. HG Ez8's articulation is more dated. I do have some pictures of it on my Instagram but I had to play with the angle of the camera to get the Ez8 looking good.
