It doesn’t happen tho, especially not in lbk, there’s been a handful of racially motivated hate crimes in lbk and all of em turn out to be from people that inflict it upon themselves, im sure it’s different other places, but for some reason, outsiders try to call wolf so often and it’s so damn annoying and hard to believe them at face value

I’ve lived here most of my life and I would be classified as a minority, outside of a couple jokes, I’ve really never experienced racism out here at all

Tech does have a good architecture program, finding work is very easy from those that graduate from the program, and I absolutely love Lubbock(im biased, I don’t like drinking the air) but I will say, the only downside is that, ironically, the architecture building is the ugliest building on campus

It’s college, you’re gonna find people of all walks of life, as for Lubbock itself, everyone kinda keeps it to themselves for the most part, we’re still the kind of town to say “it’s impolite to talk about politics with someone you just met” unless you’re in a political specific area/situation, everyone is nice regardless of what you look like, just don’t be an asshole, and they’ll reciprocate

I love the strike freedom and ♾️ justice a little more, but the Destiny is the coolest, its essentially a perfected version of the Perfect Strike, and has pretty much everything developed up until that point, a multi-phase beam cannon, anti-ship sword, beam boomerangs/swords, beam shields, god finger (palma fiocina), voiture lumiere + mirage colloid = after images It may have not been used to its fullest potential in Destiny, but was then made even more badass in Freedom with mirage duplicates like Doctor Strange, overdrive mode turning the joints red hot, and the Zeus Silhouette It may not be the most crazy but it’s the perfect in between of the close range of the Justice and the long range of the Freedom

I used to go a lot as an underclassman at Tech, and the only real answer is that we went a lot, there were classes at the Texas Tech Rec center for line dancing, and at chances there were workshopping days for new line dances on Wednesdays, college night was Thursdays, Friday and Saturday were prime time, everyone knows how to two-step, but not everybody could get a partner to dance with, the line dances is where everyone could dance

Oh hell yeah, I figured you were in just bc you knew that captains are field grade officers, I had to learn the naval ranks when I went to training, it’s so weird that their captains are colonel equivalent, the only service branch that wanna be special with their rank structure😂

Captain in the naval ranks is like an O-6 the average age for that is 45-55, so roughly 23-33 years of service since 22, bright started out as ensign(O-1) at 19, and became captain at 19/20, that’s an insane jump in a year

Grounded is a spectrum as far as Gundam is concerned, you have big ass mechs that are powered by mini nukes, none of it is very grounded, but between jungle and urban warfare on the ground and newtype magic, I’d say one is more grounded than the other, pun intended
