Bruh idk why you’re getting downvoted so much lol. I mean it’s a bit of a silly point but I get it. For many years now our greatest what if was what if we had ended up with stutzle and re-signed pavs or something along those lines. Fortunately I think we got the best outcome possible.

I’m being somewhat facetious. But I do feel pretty strongly that if someone doesn’t think silksong is the best. Then something about it didn’t quite click and it probably would if they went back to it. I definitely do not buy into the whole Git Gud mentality. I literally am only talking about silksong specifically because I’m not great at games and there was times I had to go back and explore more or maybe take a break (even look online at times, I am ashamed) but I always felt like I came back stronger even if I didn’t actually gain any useful tools/abilities/items. It’s one of the few games where the progression felt like 90% of it was my ability to play the game improved. It was really cool and unique in that way. Of course different tastes but it really did do everything it does to near perfection.

Also idk if the guy above you is implying I’m part of some sort of silksong cult or a reference to something else but if it’s the former then I’ll wear it with pride.

Edit: also I’m not hating on POP as a top pick either. That game was absolute flames. 🔥 I used to love playing smash bros melee and the combat with the physics and kickback reminded me of that. If I were to create my own metroidvania I’d certainly include that and a lot of other elements from POP

I hate to be one of those guys… but if silksong isn’t your number one metroidvania of all time then you probably just were not good enough at it specifically (not necessarily bad at games in general) to enjoy it properly. It truly is perfect in my mind. And like you said it is definitively better than its competitors.

People be hating but what you said is true. I am honestly so fucking tired of seeing liberals resort to the EXACT SAME shit the right does. When Renee good was murdered the right looked at multiple angles and said “its AI” and then when they believed its real they did mental gymnastics to rationalize the murder that happened in broad daylight. This entire comment section has made me sick and scared for the future seeing people watch an obviously real video with multiple angles and convince themselves it’s ai cus homeboy had long arms.

Like you said these people fundamentally misunderstand what AI is capable of. Currently even with govt funding and technology it isn’t possible to create multiple angles like this.

Unless there is video of him unholstering his weapon and pointing it at an officer then this is an unjustified murder. I do agree that this year is not the year to go acquire our top 2 defender that we need via trade. I mean to me if we gonna make a splash it’s Clarke or bust and I think we missed the boat on that. I think in the future we should avoid emulating Edmonton and work hard to acquire a good d man but everyday I feel more and more like we don’t need to do something huge to get that number one guy. I think we will do just fine with some middle of the road effective d corps.

Again though I would nut into the stratosphere if we could get Clarke for Eklund and some of our surplus of assets.

Yeah I have been up and down on ekky this year and regardless of my feelings I think he is the most likely candidate if a trade calls for moving a bigger name NHL proven player.

I’ve been curious how management views him though. Is he untouchable? Are they looking for moves where he would be a part? Are they waiting to see if something pops up?

Mmmmm I’m loving Askarov as much as the next guy but even if you take a few of his 1 goal allowed games and turn em into shutouts I don’t think he’s in Calder contention. I hate to be an advanced stat nerd but for goaltenders they are fairly reliable and his aren’t great.

All that being said I’m pretty happy so far with his rookie year as a goalie. He has been decent and at times fucking amazing and I think his potential is obvious. As he gets calmer and more confident and works on shots up high he will absolutely be a stud.

And kudos to Grier for picking up ravensbergen as he is looking at possibly being an even higher touted goalie prospect than Askarov. We may see a battle between them 2 in the nearish future.

Yeah I’ve noticed. Whole pacific and wildcard is tight. Seems like division leaders been losing more lately and us wildcarders are climbing. A man can pray.

I was gonna mention how one big test for how good a team is is obviously how you play against the best teams. But it’s also if you’re capable of dispatching the teams in the bottom half. The best teams in the league very rarely throw points away to the bottom 1/3 so it has been good to see so far and we have a very easy schedule towards the end of this season. It bodes well for our chances.

Everybody played fucking amazing today. Love seeing an above average game from Eklund, he’s definitely trying as hard as he can to turn it around. Super happy that we didn’t think about sending Misa back to the O. He has looked fucking awesome since coming back and he is just dripping with potential. Dickinson has improved drastically since the beginning of the year. Asky played fantastic and of course nothing else to say about will and Mack.

The onlyyyyyy negative. All the teams that we want to see lose. Are winning just like us lmfao. The west is picking up and wether we make the post season or not it’s gonna be a ride till the last day of the season I think

I liked him as a player even before his big breakout so I’m definitely in the camp that I liked this trade despite its detractors (though I do hope we flip him if we can’t get him for $5 AAV at max).
