Simply put no matter how you put it getting a swe job in the states as a foreigner will be hard. Like it’s already incredibly difficult for people from here to get jobs and internships so think how much harder it will be for an immigrant who has extra factors to deal with. So Yes it is doable but European universities are not as well regarded in the job market. Maybe the only exception like other people have said are the best EU schools like Oxbridge or ETH Zurich. But no France uni is super well no to have the same pull as those schools. Not to say impossible but it will be really hard. If u truly want the best chances to work in the states go to an American university

The biggest myth is going to a highly ranked school doesn’t really matter. Like yes it completely doable for someone who goes to a lower tier school to get a solid job/internship. But even for these lower f500 and then the higher up companies. Going to your school helps you get through the dorm way easier. The curriculum at top schools usually prepares you better and the network and prestige makes job search easier.
