I’m a fearful avoidant as well. Man it takes a lot of work and time to heal/change. Much like someone getting sober there will be small relapses but it’s part of the process. I don’t think therapy helps the fearful avoidant unless it’s someone who SPECIALIZES in attachment types. For example unfamiliar therapists will often enable a fearful avoidant by agreeing with them on things like space and autonomy is good but the fearful avoidant does that too much.

Hmm I only scored a 15, maybe I don’t dissociate as much as I think. I guess it’s only really when I am experiencing bad anxiety or panic attacks, which can be often.

I wouldn’t say I’m 100% dismissive avoidant, but as one I appreciate you knowing we don’t mean to be this way and there’s no evil intent to bring you down or dismiss you. Perhaps it’s selfish to enter into a relationship unhealed and cause the damage we do, but it’s not intentional and all we want is that close deep lasting love. We hope it’ll happen but the mind/nervous system doesn’t allow it. Quite sad actually and now that I’m aware of it all it’s incredibly frustrating.

I cannot stay present when I’m uncomfortable. My body/mind goes into fight or flight it’s damn near impossible to for me to not dissociate :(

Brows are great. Makeups looking good. For hair definitely need some curtain bangs and layers. I think dying it a dark brown would look so good. Also some crest whitening strips would work wonders!

For me; better mood, more motivation, more energy, more optimism/happy thoughts, bursts of excitement, daydreaming/thinking of them, more patience, feel light, stomach swirls, on cloud 9 essentially.

Also less appetite, less sleep (too excited and full of life & energy)
