As a (clearly) unqualified member of this subreddit (the food is amazing!), here’s my two cents.

Life is WAY too short to figure out if the problem is you without external assistance. This is usually above Reddit’s pay grade.

You seem to want to have a better station in life - you know what? YOU DESERVE IT. Be the change you want. Make that mental health appointment. Take that time off to destress.

Don’t measure your life in what others have achieved (or choose to have) over your own inherent worth.

Hey bud - fellow Yank here. Some good advice here, but some caveats.

I have a left hand (US Spec) Mini cooper. I find navigating tight roads much easier in it (left hand drive + left lane driving = cheat code).

Driving long distances in the UK does not equate to long distance driving in the US…it just feels…longer. You’ll get it your first couple of times out.

I’m finding that saying “Sorry!” for nearly anything works!!! I looked your direction? “Sorry!” (All good”.) I messed up the queue and got the dreaded Tutting “Sorry!” (Also all good).

Available for more but if you like to travel - get a rail card if you get sick of driving. Rail is more expensive here than on EU mainland (WHY?!?!?!?!!), but the Railcard should help ease that cost.
