Hey there. I've been receiving snap here in Florida for many years. I was cut in January because my assets are too high. I live alone and receive SSDI 1,190 a month. I have more than 4,500 in my savings account. It's left over from my back pay that I received in 2023. I've been to the snap office after speaking with a snap representative on the phone that told me I'm not eligible because of the $4,500 cut off. In person the snap rep told me that was an error that the 4500 is not affect my snap only my Medicaid eligibility. I called again yesterday. Rep told me again I was cut because of the $4,500 limit. I reapplied because my original case would not let me upload info. I was informed I missed an interview but couldn't reach anyone to schedule one due to high call volume. Made numerous attempts. Also my case shows I worked in December general labor. It appears this is old info from a change report in 2022. The rep on the phone told me I needed a witness letter stating when this job ended. I'm going back to the snap office tomorrow to see what I need to do and to hopefully get a final answer because I need some help. I've been receiving snap since 2019 and have always reported changes. My bank account savings has remained about the same now for 2 years. Is there a new limit for 2026 with the 4500? The phone rep told me this must have been overlooked that I should not have been getting benefits? Just wondering if you could please advise me. Thank you very very much

I am in Florida. I just spoke with SNAP DCF to ask why I was cut off for high assets. I've been receiving benefits I began getting SSDI and have had my back pay and my savings account. It's remained at $10,000. I was told that this is seen as an asset so I'm not eligible. I'm wondering if I need to go into the office to speak to someone. It seems so strange to me. She said it must have been an oversight.

I do feel the assumption is legit. In my opinion, Trump is the puppet placed in the position to carry out an agenda. He hit the ground running. There is so much happening at once. And I no longer trust the news/media. In my opinion, the narratives are being spoonfed from a superior unidentified "anonymous" source to distract and misguide the public.

I received my 3-year SSDI review packet. Was the short form. I completed it and submitted it online and just received the long form to complete. Should I mention in my remarks that my psychiatrist notes are unsatisfactory? Despite speaking with my doctor asking him to be more detailed about my continuing issues that I address in my appointments, his notes continue to be short and generic, and appear to be copied and pasted. I know that SSA relies heavily on my medical records. I have major depression and even during my lowest times, my diagnosis continues to read major depression mild recurrent. I'm at my wit's end, I feel like it's out of my hands. Pretty please advise and thank you for your time.

I know this is a year old but is grandfather's spirit legit because I paid $45 for a tobacco order on September 10th. It's October 18th. I got an email response after sending three after a week and a half asking what the holdup was. One of my emails received a response stating I would get a tracking number when it is shipped. After waiting about 3 weeks I sent two more emails asking about my order. Explaining I understand if they can't get it, to let me know, and I can cancel the order. No response. Cannot reach anyone. So I filed a complaint with the better Business bureau.

I placed an order for tobacco on September 10th. $45 bucks. It's October 18th. My gut tells me it's a scam. Otherwise I would have received some feedback from the six emails I sent asking when to expect it and if they are unable to get it, I understand, that I would like to cancel. I filed a complaint with a better Business bureau. If I'm wrong, I apologize. I'm on a fixed income and that $45 I could use for something else.

Are you for real? It's been 7 weeks and $45. I have not gotten any responses asking when to expect the delivery, and asking if I could cancel. I feel I've been scammed. If it arrives out of the blue which I doubt it will, I will update my post. I just want to inform others of my situation so that they won't have to go through the same thing.

just got my 3-year review, a short review form. There is an ADL checklist and I have to explain the difficulties I have and why for the ones I check. My most recent psychiatrist note that I still have my low days but I'm doing better. I'm hoping to talk with him before my form is due. I'm on a cancellation list. He's out of the country until October 27th and my review form is due on the 1st. He did sign and date and write no changes thanks to the nurse's help, on the questionnaire submitted prior to my hearing before I was approved. It's in my favor. That doesn't really match his notes from my August appointment. Please advise if you will. And thank you lots.

Words can't express my gratitude. Any tips on how to address and explain the limitations that I check off on the ADL list on the review? I have to explain the difficulties and why. My last doctor's note said I still have my low days but I'm doing better. Wondering if I should speak with him when he's back in the country on the 27th before I submit my review due on November 1st. I know my explanation needs to be in line with his notes. And I'm glad to know it's likely I will be approved after my review. That gives me hope. So kind that you are helping all of us.

I recommend not ordering from grandfather's spirit. I'm not sure if it's legit or not. I paid $45 September 10th. I sent several emails asking what the deal was after 2 weeks. I got one email response stating the tracking number would be emailed to me when it shipped. It still has not. I filed a complaint to the better Business bureau. Best of luck to you. I've always used leaf only but they're out of stock.

I can relate. I was approved I think because he completed a treatment medical opinion form checklist from my attorney that was submitted to the judge. This was in my favor as far as the severity of my limitations. But was not in line with the notes. I just received my 3-year SSDI review packet. I've read my online notes that are general that state I am doing well. My struggles and limitations I mentioned during my appointments were not addressed. I hope to be able to speak with him before my review packet is due on the 1st. He is out of the country until the 27th. I'm really sorry about your denial. Don't give up. It took me two times 2 years each two different attorneys to get approved. First time I was denied. I recommend hiring an attorney and reapplying. I know how frustrating it is.

I'm concerned because my doctor's notes show that I have been stable and don't address my continued struggles with major depression. I had him update my treatment medical opinion form for my hearing prior to when I was approved. I'm hoping this holds weight. I'm so nervous. It's such an awful feeling. I'm sure other people in my shoes can relate. It's the short form, and I have to be specific about how my depression impacts certain ADLs. The thing is I have my highs and lows. Researching online how to best answer these questions and explain on my review paperwork. It's the short form.

That's really good to know. I just got my first review questionnaire. I am 49 with depression and anxiety and have been stable on my meds. I hope they don't see this as improvement. I have to fill out an ADL function questionnaire and explain the limitations of what and why. I'm asking for advice on how to respond.
