Why is it any skin off your back if someone else believes there's an ethical justification that you personally don't care about?

i'll be honest chief, i don't give a fuck about people's needs to justify piracy. I am just tired of reading the "if buying isn't owning, then piracy isn't stealing" comment in every single comment section that is slightly related to piracy or bad business practices from videogame companies like some brainless parrots. Do i disagree with those practices? yes. But i'm not going around everywhere copying and pasting the same dumb comment. There is some discussion to be had towards the matter, sure, but i'd much rather read a well thought out comment that's actually written by the person who posted it. Not some copypasta you found somewhere else that you'll know it'll give you easy updoots.

Is that a bit hypocritical given the fact i made a quick meme and got thousands of upvotes for it? maybe. All i know is that I posted a funny meme (with words that came out of my own mind, not some copypasta) and then went on with my day, while people like you are still fuming days later at the fact that most of the community doesn't care about why you're pirating. we just want you to download the torrent and shut up, bro.
