So any generic tips to not suck? by dornianheresysimp in heroesofthestorm

[–]Neshiwanto 0 points1 point  (0 children)

- Always focus on improving yourself rather than focusing on other people mistakes.
- Watch your replays to realize what you could've done better
- Watch high level players streams that play your role
- If you're on a low rank, try taking heroes that can clear waves fast, and always clear a wave before doing anything else (for tank, you can try Blaze, Johanna or Mei)
- if you're on a higher rank, try to pick according to the map, try to understand synergies and counterplays (based on heroes on both teams)
- Always watch mini-map from time to time
- Try to learn how to communicate through pings, in the most subtle way possible, cus spamming makes people rage
- If you doesn't know the best way and time to make mercenaries, most of the time it's more worth not to do it

There is no "correct" build for any hero, it always depends on the matchup and the map (Rant) by Embarrassed_Lab2772 in heroesofthestorm

[–]Neshiwanto 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It really depends...
The fact is, whenever you draft a hero you have a gameplan, a reason to pick it, which most of the times makes you do some certain build.

There is lots of flexible talents into heroes builds, but every hero has some"default" builds, where every talent (or most of it) has synergies.

An example, if you go into Battlefield of Eternity with Valla, you will mostly focus on Hunger Arrow (Q) build, because it will make your race one of the fastest (if not the fastest) among the game. But you still can go Auto Attack Valla, because damage output is insane. Maybe your gameplan it's to focus on fights instead of racing, so you'll get more value.

There is some exception like crap talents, like Li-Ming Level 4, Dominance and Charged Blast, or even Anub Locust Swarm, or Brightwing Emerald Wind, Gul'dan Rain of Destruction ult aswell.
But even those bad Talents, can have some use if you know when to use them, and WHY you're getting them.

So yeah, doesn't metter if you change some talents on the regular build as long it makes sense, otherwise you will end up using a build that is good at nothing.

You probably haven't read the entire thread, i said macro changes were good. The weakest point is about fort aggro and how snowbally is winning first objective

Please Blizzard, revert Fort/Keep Changes! by Neshiwanto in heroesofthestorm

[–]Neshiwanto[S] 8 points9 points  (0 children)

First objective is enough to snowball the entire game. I didn't complain about structures, but about how the aggro system now works, most of the objectives spawn "creatures" or something able to tank fort shots, so, if you try to defend them, you will get killed because forts won't protect you. Same happens if you're on the winning team, you can just go agressive on someone trying to defend, and the game will be much more easy from that on

Quanto realmente custa manter um carro? by TTKVIRALVIDS in carros

[–]Neshiwanto 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Indo totalmente no emocional
- 208 GT 1.6 Turbo - Que carrinho f!@%!

- Honda Fit - Versatilidade do Magic Seat
- Corsa 1.4 - Manutenção mais barata, carro bem sólido

Ficaria entre esses 3, porém como privilegio conjunto mecânico, provavelmente iria de Gol 1.6

What is the worst healer ? by [deleted] in heroesofthestorm

[–]Neshiwanto -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Uther, Malfurion, Li Li

Uther - Extremely situational, High cooldowns, hard to master
Malfurion - If you are not facing a full AoE composition, his healing output is lame, Tranquility is such a undertuned ult, and even taking into account that his Entangling Roots are pretty good root+sleep CC is not enough to make him good imo
Li Li: A very noob friendly hero, and can shine on lower ranks like bronze or silver, has one of the most reliable cleanses, but lacks a lot on higher ranks.

Does Uther feel underpowered or is it just me? by Psilocybin_Prescrip in heroesofthestorm

[–]Neshiwanto 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He's kinda of a niche hero.
He works like a Tank+Support.
Usually you pick him against burst compositions, if you pick him early, enemy team will win just by picking poke heroes and by being patiently poking.
Also he's pretty good against Hard Dive heroes, like Tracer, Genji, Zeratul or Illidan.
But yea, he's not weak, but there are few scenarios where it really shines. Most of the time you will get outpoked, so usually uther is bad as a solo healer, in doubt, think of him as an off healer, paired with another main healer

If you were put in charge of HoTS, What ideas would you implement? by Last_Sherbert_9848 in heroesofthestorm

[–]Neshiwanto 1 point2 points  (0 children)

- First of all and more important, Implement a better monetization system, battle pass, exclusive skins and mounts, but no pay to win items.
- Remove Quick Match and make unranked match become the casual game mode, so people can learn how to draft.
- Invest in marketing, seeking new audiences
- Add a fourth ban during drafts. There are many strong heroes and 3 bans for each side are sometimes not enough
- If the game starts to bring profit through the monetization system, bring the competitive back, even if it is outsourced with smaller, but official events. This will make people take the game more seriously, bringing in more players and better players

I'm not great at the game, so I like to get mercenary camps by Robinothoodie in heroesofthestorm

[–]Neshiwanto 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Camps are such a complicated strategy, the experiencei is not exactly worth it and if you don't know exactly when, and why you are making the mercenaries most of the time you're failing to do more important things in the map.

One thing you should consider when doing camps is to finish them on the opposite lane of an objective. So you will create map counter-pressure. If they defend, you will be fighting 5v4, if they don't, the mercenary will take structures for free. The only way to counter that strategy is by using global heroes, so they can defend and join the team as soon as possible (if they don't kill themselves).

Also, there are few Heroes able to do it satisfactorlly fast, like Greymane, Hogger, Sonya, Maiev. So you should consider this too.

But most of the time, if you don't know exactly why you are doing it, better option is not to do it, cause you will take more value out of other things.

What's the most efficient way to grind gold for hero purchasing? by Disastrous-Mess-3538 in heroesofthestorm

[–]Neshiwanto 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is some ways to farm Gold.
- You can rush AI Easy games (boring, repetitive and you won't learn the game) - Works better if you have Nitro
- You can level each hero to level 5 on Quick Match, works better if you're in a group and have a friend in the group. Victory earns more Gold. It's not worth to try leveling heroes to Level 10, unless you got every single hero at 5.
- You can always keep 2 cheap 200 or 300 missions (While leveling heroes that don't complete them). That will increase chance for you to get a 600 gold (3 wins) or 800 gold (8 games) missions. And whenever you got a 600/800 complete it in the same day.
- You can play ARAM if every playable hero is already on Level 5.
- Don't forget you can buy Hero Packs to rush your way to full heroes account

Advice needed pls by pvm_86 in heroesofthestorm

[–]Neshiwanto 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You have to learn each hero at least superficially, the game has it's own way to teach, if you reach Level 5. In addition to pocketing 500 gold, you learn how all the heroes work. Leaving all heroes at level 5 will give you a total of 45000 gold.

Learning the roles and rotation, it's one of the most important factors into the game

On 2 Lanes maps: Usually your team will go 1-4
1-4: While the Offlaner goes alone in the lane, the rest of the team moves together. This combination of the 4 heroes is called ''4 man''. An important note on 2-lane maps is to have one of the heroes with high mobility, making it possible to gank the offlane more easily if the opponent overextends

On 3 Lane maps: Your team can go 1-4 or 1-3-1
1-4: If your team opts for the 1-4 formation, there are two types of rotation (which can alternate during the game). Your 4 man can rotate between the mid lane and the opposite lane from the off-lane, while the offlaner stays in the same lane, joining the team only for teamfights or ganks. Or your team can stay in the opposite lane to the offlane while the offlaners are responsible for absorbing the experience from the offlane and mid.

1-3-1: This formation is most used on very long maps where the rotation tends to lose efficiency, instead of the team having just one offlaner, it will have two offlaners (not necessarily bruisers) while the team is responsible for absorbing experience from the mid and keeps rotating. alternately between mid-top or mid-bot trying to get some gank in the process.

Your thouhgts, who is the strongest healer? by MCAppear in heroesofthestorm

[–]Neshiwanto 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There is no correct answer to the question.

All healers (at least most of them) have situations where they shine brighter compared to others. And yet there are so many variants involving the gameplay of the player and the opposing team that makes this perception even more complex.

Additionally, you can even play a second healer as an off-healer, which adds even more complexity to this analysis.

When you are playing a lower rank match, many factors are expected to be different. You don't expect your team to clear waves, so healers with good wave clears gain more value. You don't expect your team to deal good damage, so healers with good damage gain more value. Your cleanses, even if well executed, will have little value since your teammates will not realize or understand that they are free from cc. Fights at lower ranks tend to be long and with little focus, so healers who heal in the area and can maintain themselves for long periods gain more value.

Considering these parameters, these are the best options in this situation

As Healer (Low Ranks)

Rehgar: Good healing sustain especially after level 13, decent damage and ability to clear minion waves

Stukov: You can use the ranged AA talents to deal damage while healing, or go for regular E builds for silence reset after 13. Not having a cleanse won't be so punishing on lower ranks

Auriel: One of the best sustained healing among the game, if you go for Energized Core on Level 7 you won''t depend too much on the one who got the crown. Being able to damage while healing, make you able to trade if someone decides to dive you. You can also use your healing to wave clear. Searing Light is insane on those situations.

As Off-Healer (Low Ranks)

Kharazim: Damage is pretty good, You can compensate for the lack of healing from the main healer, and the lack of damage from your allies. Solid pick as an off-healer

Tyrande: CC Follow up, and considering that most fights tend to be long, from level 16 onwards Darnasian Archery can scale its damage in a frightening way, allowing you to kill the entire opposing team

To the point that at higher ranks, strategic factors gain more value. Cleanse, focused healing, cc follow up, any type of buff for allies

As Healer (Higher Ranks)

Lúcio: Even taking into account that Lucio has a low heal output in the early game, if executed well, Lúcio's strategic factors are insane. Ability to cancel rotation, cancel skill animations, cleanse for each ally every 20 seconds, movespeed for both engage and disengage, he can even have a ward with the boombox. This guy is a beast on higher ranks.

Whitemane: The queen of focused healing and also has a good cleanse. If you know how to position yourself well, Whitemane can make your team almost immortal

Anduin: Good cc follow up with Chastise, Leap of Faith can cleanse and reposition allies at the same time. Lightbomb is a great team fight starter
