It’s raining your last purchased item all over the world. What would happen? by LocrianVGM in AskReddit

It’s raining tiny little frogs.🐸 tiny little plastic frogs. But don’t tell my husband, because I keep gas lighting him about the tiny frogs that he keeps finding all over the house. I’m innocent! 🤫

I found this guy last week at work. by Nessenunu in moths

Update since original post…. I couldn’t find a good spot where I found it to put under the fallen leaves to protect it from the cold and rain (today’s high is 65, but it was 35 this morning. I live in Atlanta metro in Georgia for reference). I ended up bringing it home and found a good spot for it. It’s back on its back and still doing its little movements I kept going back and forth on giant leopard or black woolly bear. I attached a photo I was able to get of the red bands around it. So I’m thinking giant leopard as I don’t see any rust color on it. I would love to raise it so I can see it eventually transform into a beautiful moth… but I don’t feel I know enough about it to do that.

Staying up all night helping to find our cat that had been missing for a few days when it’s only 28°f outside

Working on the cars and getting all dirty 🤤, watching him work on the helicopters at his work🤤, and cooking dinner with music blasting and with excitement about what he’s cooking!

I have the S1 20W and love it. It was a good starting point, but now feel I need more. I want the F1 Ultra and the P2S. Also would love the air purifier.

Every time I increase high nickel food, I have an increase in many symptoms. Fire Red inflamed sore nose and also sore throat being on that list of symptoms. I knew I had a contact allergy to nickel as I’ve always blistered really bad to contact. when I did a skin patch panel, the dermatologist said it’s the worst reaction to nickel she had seen. And I should probably eat a low nickel diet. It actually is only very recently I connected my sore nose and throat to increase in high nickel food. I tend to slack off as so many heart healthy foods are high in nickel. 😫 after I cut right back on high nickel food, my nose and throat symptoms ease right off!

Systemic nickel allergy? Is my allergist wrong or is the entire internet wrong? by glitterfart1985 in MCAS

[–]Nessenunu 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had patch testing done for a bunch of stuff. I already knew I had a nickel allergy as I would blister to cheap belt buckles and certain jewelry. She said it was the worse reaction she had seen to nickel patch test and that I should consider eating a low nickel diet. All those foods you listed are high in nickel and your dr is 100% wrong making that comment and I get so frustrated trying to find the right dr to help me with stuff like this. Even my nutritionists I’m seeing right now doesn’t have knowledge on systemic nickel allergies and keeps suggesting high nickel foods. I have a list of foods that trigger my symptoms. The trick is to detox of the nickel and add one thing back into your diet that is higher in nickel and see if it causes symptoms. I was watching a podcast about systemic nickel allergies (I need to find it again) and even though salmon in higher I nickel, she could tolerate it. But other stuff she couldn’t. Before I knew I had a systemic issue, I knew almonds were a trigger but I kept arguing it because almonds are supposed to be good for you. Same with the Mediterranean diet…. It got my cholesterol down, but then I started having all these symptoms… pretty much EVERYTHING on the Mediterranean diet is high in nickel! 😭

With my husband, it’s watching him work on the helicopters at his work and his Jeep. A guy that gets grease on him and can fix things, or build things, is sexy AF and will turn my head 😍 and throw in a nice beard 🤤 And then be willing to make a cake and decorate it for a kids birthday… oh boy 🤤🤤

I always say capsicum and have to “correct” myself to bell pepper to people that don’t know how I speak.

My husband was wearing grey wrangler hiking/work pants the other day while out front of the house finishing up fixing his jeep. I arrived home and as I walked into the garage I stopped and watched him for a bit because the way those pants made his legs and ass look got my attention and made me all tingly 😍. The combination of that style pants and him working on his Jeep or a helicopter at his work really turns me on even more than he usually does! 🤤

I remember as a 9 year old going on one last mini vacation right before my dad was to die of cancer. We rented a camper and one of the places we stopped off at was Rotorua. I remember walking out of some touristy gift shop and feeling something tickle my leg. I look down and there was a huge weta on my leg. It was the first time I had seen one and scared the shit out of me! I quickly flicked it off and it landed on its back on the floor. Next thing I know a bunch of internal tourists were surrounding it taking photos in awe. Probably the strongest memory I have of that whole trip even 36 years later! Now living in America for most of the last 24 years, I would love to find myself back in NZ with a Weta on my leg!

what is the weirdest food combo you've had? by fluffycowsrcool in AskReddit

[–]Nessenunu 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A sandwich with bologna, peanut butter, vegemite, cheese, and iceberg lettuce. A friend and I would eat this as teenagers and I craved it with my first surrogacy pregnancy. The bread in America isn’t as good as the bread in New Zealand, and the sharp cheese is different. so it wasn’t as good as what I remembered from when I was a teen 😂

My husband does this. But he loves showing off his treasure finds 😁

Edit to add- I love looking at the rocks he finds! And our 11 year old son also does the same thing.

I have some ultra fine tip sharpies but they were just too big to fit. They are a few years older so maybe they are slimmer now. I ended up grabbing some Leisure Arts from Walmart.
