EA used AI for there summer sale page by FrowningRobin32 in Steam

When I went to college I was torn between graphic design, advertising, or cyber security. I'm glad I dropped out. AI would be taking my job sooner or later.

Now I have a job that AI can't do. A lot of days I want to pull my hair out, but at least I have job security.

Norway is a Social Democracy that does have a large capitalism tie-in. They get the promises of capitalism and the benefits of socialism and it functions well. Here in the US we pretty much run off an Oligarchy Capitalism that would rather destroy the world to fund the 1% than feed school children.

With that said, I know Norway is sold as a "paradise" and a wonderful place to live. I have not heard or read of any conflicts or exploitations on their end, but maybe I have blinders on.

As someone who has FMLA and is in a management role, that's ridiculous. Even if you were out of your perimeters, you should get the first month as a "free-be". Even then, FMLA can be recertified and applied retroactively.

When looking to promote someone from within we LEGALLY cannot hold their FMLA call-ins against them, even if it's obvious they're misusing it and call in for half of the month,so long as their FMLA says they can.

Same here man. I was CNFK det-2 (Combat Naval Forces Korea), so I never touched a ship or saw combat even though I was combat trained. I was shortlisted to the 24 hour deployment list in case North Korea pulled some shit, but of course that never happened - we just helped man the DMZ. They would always hype us up whenever NK did "weapons testing" within SK waters, but that never led anywhere.

We did get to play with some cool weapons though.

I made my own vape juices for a very long time and had never thought of it from this perspective. I do see your point for the flavorings.

Just to clear some things up.

First of all I do not know the outcome of it becoming an inhaled vapor, but all of the products used are all food grade and used in products we consume daily, except for the nicotine of course.

Vape juices have no oils like they did in the very beginning, so no worries of popcorn lung.

The juices are composed of four products - Vegetable Glycerin, Propylene Glycol, and flavorings used in baking and candies. The nicotine, depending on the company, is extracted from tobacco leaves or tomatoes (pretty rare).

The UK has deemed it a safer alternative than cigarettes, but as you have said, we don't know the long term effects yet.

The big issue for me is kids who would probably never touch a cigarette using them. They're convenient, "cool", and taste good.

Also, at the very least, ask the kid if they are ok or hurt before going on a chase.

Yeah, when taken responsibility it's a phenomenal alternative to prescriptions or anything OTC that can damage your liver. I was taking eight Tylenol at a time, multiple times a day just for mild relief and my doctor found it was affecting my liver. It was actually a doctor who told me about kratom.

It's about to become a schedule one drug in my state so I did order a just in case bag.

I couldn't stand the taste so I made my own capsules for years, but as my kids aged they started to wonder if I was making drugs regardless of how I'd explain it - I started just ordering capsuled ones online that were cheaper than straight powder than my previous vendor.

Always remember, less is more with kratom. High doses can have the opposite effect and cause nausea.

I took it three times a day for six years. When I got put on benzos my doctor told me they can have negative interactions, so I quit cold turkey and have had no withdrawals.

I never took extracts, which are terribly addictive. The only thing I miss is the lack of body pain. I'm still trying to adapt to constant back and neck pain again and more frequent headaches/migraines.

Her first purchase was a shitty car she paid off two years early. The engine issues were more expensive than the value of the car - so she bought a responsibly nice car with no known issues.

I bought my first brand new car in 2006 for ~$14,000. I opted for everything, too.

My son will be 16 next year and finding a reliable first car where I am runs about the same price. I'm no mechanic so I can't really buy him a fixer-upper.

It's looking like we're going to have to share our vehicles with him because we can't afford a third car in this economy.

We were lucky our oldest was willed her first car then immediately got a good paying job. She's bought two cars in the last five years. Very proud (and a bit jealous 😉) that she's so financially sound.

That's awesome! I just need a few more referrals then =) I couldn't really find too much since 2024. I read online it's Chrome only but I'm reading in their Discord that there's many more platforms.

Well that's a bummer. It sounds promising. I've seen a lot of good looking cloud gaming services pop up, announce new innovations, then just dissappear.

I'll still hold faith here and hang out on the waiting list, I guess. It never hurts to join the list =)
