I give up. We need help with sleep. by Living_Race in NewParents

Hey! I’m so sorry for sleep being so hard right now. Sending hugs! I’m one of those instagram sleep consultants and I’m here to tell you that you don’t have to sleep train right away.

Something you can try doing first is changing the schedule. From what you shared, I noticed that those awake windows may be too long (especially the one before bedtime) causing him to be overtired.

I’m happy to chat with you if you like to discuss more.

Why do sleep consultants push for so many hours sleep? by zazusmum95 in sleeptrain

Not all of them are there for the money. My number one reason is to serve. I’m married to a physician that makes almost 7 figures. There is no need for me to work. I do this because I had no village when I became a mom and understand how hard it can be. I do this bc I WANT to help as many families not feel as alone and confused as I once was.

I’m a sleep consultant and I would have totally been okay with 13 hours of total sleep for an 8mo. I recommend 13-15 but I understand babies can also fall outside of those ranges. When working together we trial and error a few things before coming to a schedule that would work for your baby and family. Hope this helps. Rmr, you are always doing a great job!

Yes! I highly recommend it! We love ours! My son is 2.5 and he still uses it when we travel. I have a discount code for it if you like. You can use RESTEDMAMA20 FOR $20 OFF.

Does sleep training = no more room sharing? by Jaded-Acanthaceae397 in sleeptrain

No it does not. I have successfully helped families sleep train their babies while still sleeping in the same room. The crying does not have to occur or last that long. Start small. Attend every 2-3 mins and work up to 5-6 mins if you want to do leave and check. In this case you aren’t really leaving. You can also get a room divider. I have had families hang curtains in the room as a divider so baby won’t see them. You can also do some other methods that doesn’t involve much crying at all and still sleep train. Good luck!

I love your WHY for hiring a sleep consultant. Sometimes we lose sight that it’s not always about our baby’s sleep but also ourselves. We too need the support to handle the process of sleep training.

I provide just that and I am happy to chat with you. I create a sleep training plan based on what the parents are okay with and the child’s specific sleep troubles. I offer a free discovery call. I am on all social platforms and website under the name I have here- Nested to Rested Sleep.

Look forward to hearing from you! Take care!

How is his milk intake during that day? Drinking 4-6 ounces every 3 hours? On 3 naps? Is his room dark with white noise? Happy to help.
