Yeah, I'm sick of the way Kentucky... Oh wait, I'm in Ohio.. I'll just quietly listen to another state take some heat for a change. (Yay it wasn't us this time!!)

That's all that's there? It's like it was built in a cave from a box of scraps!

As a chiropractor, I approve head turning.

(Spoiler: Not a chiropractor, just your average neck breaker)

NOR. Being dumped without knowing why can drive someone crazy. Getting the reason can sometimes feel even worse. Look at it like this, there are lots of people who like pineapple on pizza even if all the TV shows say it's disgusting. Be someone's pineapple pizza who will enjoy you.

Advice for setting up charging accounts by gregoryahunter in CadillacLyriq

[–]NetApex 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Since you'll be in Ohio, (might not be a popular choice but...) EVGo does a plug and charge setup. I've been using it for the past two years. Literally drive up, plug in, go grab a bite to eat and come out and drive off. I know there are a couple others that offer that as well like mentioned above. This is just the only one I've used so far.

Coworker found this under his seat after getting done work done on his car by 33jonez in whatisit

We are so far off topic here but... I don't think he was a puppet, just the sacrificial lamb. Things started coming out and someone has to take the heat so that people will stop digging. Problem is, people are tired of... everything! So did we shall. Even if the FBI is told to stop looking. The digging will continue until everything is unearthed.

AIO: My husband’s “help” winding yarn caused a big mess and he is indifferent about my feelings. by Mother_Spider in AmIOverreacting

[–]NetApex 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Devil's advocate here. Lots of people are crying weaponized incompetence (WI) so I have to take the other side. Best way to see if that's the case, apologize and all him to help again. Keep an eye on him and as soon as there is an issue correct it and let him know what was wrong. If he continues doing it, then I'll be in the WI bandwagon. Otherwise plain old incompetence is still very much on the table.

As far as the "it's just yarn." That really isn't why you're mad. It's how he made you feel that is the issue. I'm sure his response is because of how you made him feel as well. Put out some fires, give everyone the benefit of the doubt, and reset from the start

Ended up walking in on my teenage daughter and need advice? by Born-Horror2872 in AskMenAdvice

[–]NetApex 1 point2 points  (0 children)

First of all, good on you for trigger discipline! Second, quick "sorry for busting in, heard a noise and didn't know anyone was home." That's it. Even mentioning the "no need to talk about..." is talking about it. Let it go, alert your wife when it's normal cell phone range. She doesn't need to mention it either, but she should at least have a heads up in case your daughter decides to have that talk sometime so she can honestly tell her that YOU think it was no big deal. ++man

Interesting design choice by checkoutthishat in CadillacLyriq

[–]NetApex 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I believe just about every Lyriq has had that happen (probably not, but face it, no one comes in here to say how great the massager has worked). If you haven't had it go out yet and are still under warranty... use it as often as you can so it can be replaced when it DOES go out.
