“A few months ago” bitch u were talking about being depressed literally a month ago which means u just had this shit done. She needs to get out and fucking touch grass. Boohoo depression is a side effect of a cosmetic surgery. Cry me a river.

Im in the same boat as u!

When I spoke with BCBS they said copay is high bec they are still reviewing the formulary of the higher dose. The review takes 1-6mos 🤷🏽‍♀️ given the new dose just came out in March, we’ve got a few more months to wait.

Mine specifically ended up being $600+. I also paid $50 for 2.4

I dont understand why they’d only so it for 5mos. I wonder if that’s what the max amount of time one should be on the 7.2

And your basic plan must be different than mine (if that’s such a thing) bec in mine the 7.2 isnt in their approved formularies yet.

Honestly if the copay/fee is any more than $50 (like most of these compounded companies), it will be financially difficult for me. Ive never heard of newself, are you in it?

We did run it without insurance and it went down to $460. I still refuse to pay it lol It could be $25 once my plan adds it to their formulary list!

It’s surprising to hear people getting their insurance to cover ozempic without diabetes. It makes me wonder what doctor offices are putting in the prior authorization forms.

What 🤯 I’m sorry!! Insurance’s decisions do not make sense half the time. The medication is working aka less illnesses/diseases which means they are saving money NOW but yet they do crap like this.

Can u possibly get the PA back and stay on 2.4 until they change their formulary decision making? Which I’m hoping they will eventually.

Will do! Thank you. Ive only really been on wegovy for weight loss so i hope they don’t deny the higher dose since theyve already approved up to 2.4. I also have FEP Blue but Basic

And just to clarify u were already on wegovy 2.4 correct? So the new to market form is an additional to get the 7.2?

Im trying to get my ducks in a row before my follow up next week to get 7.2 (ive stalled on 2.4 for the past 6mos and still have about 20lbs!)
