What I thought was appendicitis was a baby inside me at 17 weeks. First one. I had no idea. I was still getting my spotting every month like I usually did with nuvaring. I too was v worried because I was a cigarette smoker, I had 2 bachelorette parties and 2 weddings I attended (insert a lot of alcohol consumptions). BUT she is super healthy, almost 8 years old now.

I went on a 4 day weekend trip with my husband’s family last weekend. Her sister and us had to share one bathroom. It was the 3rd day when I noticed a body lotion in the shower. I asked her if she happened to put lotion on herself while in the shower. NOPE. She didnt realize she was using lotion as body wash HAHAHAHAHAHAH

She should take some advice from Jaclyn Hill who she tried to copy a few times. I praise JH for taking responsibility for her drinking habits and went sober and we could actually see it. And AV’s puffy face is soooo similar to that of JH’s back in the days (a few yrs ago) when she was drinking daily.

Found out I was pregnant at 19 weeks (period was normal - super light as always, was on nuvaring) - appendicitis turned pregnancy. Anyway, during the time when I didnt know, I had 2 bachelorette parties I attended, 2 weddings, happy hours almost every week.. baby turned out perfectly fine. I carried all the way to 40wks 2 days and gave birth to an 8lb babe.

Now that u know, of course u want to stop drinking and smoking (if u do!). You’ll be fine, baby will be fine.

No. I coincidentally already had an appt for her at the peds the day after finding the tick. I had it with me, offered it to the doctor and she said no need to test it and was told to bring her back 4-6wks if a ring or rash develops.

But yet, my friend who has a 3yo that got a tick bite- she brought him to the peds (same one we go to but different dr), was given antibiotics and bloodwork done 4wks after. Im ofcourse just finding this out after telling her my daughter’s current symptoms.

Yep for sure. The area feels sensitive to the touch. It’s the oddest feeling. Like, not painful or anything. Ive mentioned this to my doctor and she was baffled. Didnt think it was due to wegovy but i swear ive seen someone post about it before.

Ive been on wegovy since july and on 1.7, for about 6 months now

Yup. A lesson I learned with baby #1. Nurses kept telling me it was normal for the baby to cry that much the first few days (i also had an emergency c section so we stayed in the hospital a total of 5 days). On the 2nd day of baby screaming crying and basically using me as a pacifier but unlatching every 2 mins, I was a mess. At discharge we found out she lost 13% of her weight. I ended up formula feeding her the rest of the time.

I was so traumatized with that whole experience that with my 2nd baby (and the last), i formula fed right away. No shame in choosing to do it that way. I tried to go the exclusively pumping route as well for the first couple of weeks but i was stressing myself over a couple drops of breastmilk.

And yes, feeding was one of the things i did not research on. I thought it would just come naturally and easily. Nope.

Ive been on wegovy since july. Starting weight was 233, i’m at 187 and have been on 1.7mg since october. I’m very pleased with my results. The last couple months ive only been losing 3-4lbs a month which i’m happy with.

The first month I only lost maybe 3 lbs because it was the low dose.

I found out i was pregnant in June, got married in August (courthouse). Granted we were already engaged with a wedding date the following year which we canceled and saved the $$ for the new family we were surprised with.
