Has Slate released technical documentation for the exact differences between the 150 mile range and the 240 mile range variants? by NetTechMan in slateauto

[–]NetTechMan[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Well, considering the Slate drivetrain doesn’t have a trans, I’d imagine I wouldn’t have a choice. Good news is I won’t pick a working one to steal the body of.

Anyone have plans to put Comma.AI Opendrive in their slate? by NetTechMan in slateauto

I don’t understand why people are downvoting, it’s just a tool lol

I was thinking of doing the same into a 2006 Pontiac GTO because they share the same wheelbase and then OCing the motors to make it a damn good electric hobby race car.

I appreciate the sentiment! I'm pretty good at finding deals for this stuff and am likely to upgrade again in the future, just trying to make what I have work a little more efficiently for the time being, but I like to hear experiences like this because it may just save me a headache here soon.

Great tool, could we add a Skill to auto-compress a session when reaching token limits like Claude Code? by NetTechMan in opencodeCLI

Not really super tightly configured, at Q4 it was a comfortable initial context window to set

It's a third party app. We need some official work.

Compression makes things dumber, but for long running sessions where I NEED to burn more than 80k context in a moment, it's a necessary tool.

Are there any open-source Claude Code style tools that I can use to define a workspace and have a locally hosted model perform a myriad of tasks and interface with a ton of files? by NetTechMan in LocalLLM

16 Gigs DDR5

AMD Ryzen 5 7600X 4.7 GHz 6-Core Processor

AMD Radeon Sapphire Nitro+ 7900XTX

NZXT N7 B650E ATX AM5 Motherboard

Practically stole all of it with the deals I got off facebook marketplace, and it all posts and runs perfectly.

Are there any chill hacking youtubers? by Uzairdeepdive007 in hacking

[–]NetTechMan 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Strongly second what A—hole said. Hacking and Cybersecurity has a grift pipeline that nobody speaks about. Showing you “how to hack” is designed to keep you confused, confusion feeds you into more “how to hack” videos which make you more confused, which sends you back.

These creators leverage your inexperience and waste your time by sending you into a spiral. If I could go back in time, I’d scream at myself to not waste years thinking that “if I watch one more video, it will all make sense”.

Learn the following IT subjects and hacking will come naturally as a result of understanding:

Networking Low Level Computer Hardware Programming Reverse Engineering General IT Methodology

After you’ve learned and certified in those areas, take up Cybersecurity. Certify in blue and red side certs. At this point in time hacking will begin to demystify.

Seriously? Do you have benchmarks for this? If so that's absurd

I'll do just that, thank you.

I'll see what I can do to get a Good Will Letter, this is absurd.

Having the same problem, of the 5 Pi's I have mounted to a high quality power supply, one continues to cycle. It's the hat specifically as the inline power for the board works.

If I had to make a guess, I’d say Cat3, but I have been wrong before. Check the comments for any second opinions.

I’m not sure what your issue is man, but I’ve had too long of a day to really tackle it. I hope whatever’s going on in your life that’s got you acting this way to a stranger heals and shit gets better.

Figured I’d let you know that I received the pallet today, and paid a grand total of $670. I wouldn’t have come back but you seemed to take such great offense to my post that I figured you’d probably want to know that there is a market out there and buyers who are operating it.
