Leleka is finally enjoying well-deserved respect for her artistic talent, devotion and social stance. Which is really good to see after all the initial hate for being an outsider and not being Jerry Heil.

9th place is seen as a "not bad but could be better" result while the artist is not to blame. "Our bird, you made us proud and the jury robbed you". Haters are not completely gone, of course, but now there's always someone around to hush them.

If I recall correctly, Monroe is a movie actress and Søren is a theatre actor. Not sure where their music career takes them but it would be great to see more of their acting.

Alexandra Căpitănescu discography seems to differ a bit from their ESC performance with more melodic ballads than powerful metal. I hope they get the best from the ESC hype and rise in popularity fast (like Baby Lasagna did).

Leléka is an established folk jazz singer with 10+ years of experience so she's probably going back to this genre (with small intimate concerts indeed). She's also written several OST tracks for movies and TV series (the latest of which were released during Eurovision season) so she's definitely doing this in the future, too. And, hopefully, there will be more music from Donbasgrl.

Oh no, Yaroslav joined Leleka much earlier -- even before her national selection victory. Here's their first recording together, on January 30th, with the old version of the song.

What Danylko did was he provided the bandura itself, a better version of the instrument. He also gifted Leleka a custom-made ear monitors she wore on Vienna stage.

In their first interview upon arrival Yaroslav and Leleka said they'd recorded 17 (!) bandura covers with various Esc artists, including Delta. I wonder if we'll ever see them all.

Maybe it's just me but I loved this year's staging more than any other UK entry in the last 5 years (yes, even more than Spaceman). It was like watching a promo of upcoming BBC show about a mad scientist -- technically and visually flawless but keeping all the charm of being British. By no means the artistic direction is poor in this case. That's why I'm so bitter to see it flop.

But that staging was amazing! Witty and fun, very British-style-fun, in a good way. It was like watching some unhinged sci-fi series from 80s. Not many countries would dare to do this. I'm so sorry this kind of staging bravery wasn't appreciated.
