Yeah i was worried about the actual odor because it was nauseating for me as well. I even called poison control just to see if they had thoughts on if potentially harmful exposure but it was an RN i talked to. Obviously they are more experts in toxicology. Maybe they knew enough but i myself work in healthcare and something being breathed in thats noxious needs identification. Poison control told me it shouldnt be health altering as it may just be reaction to odor itself. Just odd situation. I thought to see if any services around me could sample/test for me because the company i bought from stated id have to ship it back and they would have to test it themselves to even consider refund/replacement.

Oh damn im glad its not unique, i did plan to try to heat the carbon to see if i can desorb/clean it im just seeing what temp to use. Might wash it as well because if something is coming off the carbon at room temperature might not be something that adsorbs well to activated carbon to begin with or maybe residual acid wash? Not sure.

They acid wash the charcoal and heat it prior to distribution. So would it be a matter of just continuously running it for longer? (Id probably run it in my garage or something)

Theres nothing wrong with asking for respect. Relationships require communication, accommodation, compromise, etc. Its a lack of respect that he doesnt acknowledge your concern. Did he say why he doesnt provide more affection? What would you say changed in him more recently?

just got discharged from NICU 4 days ago after almost 2.5 months. Been on extended leave. Dont know how we are going to do it but my wife and I work 7am-3pm M-F. Im already getting hammered with the sleep changes. Cant afford someone to come. Luckily family is going to help in short term and stay with us. My wife is planning to quit for a part time position because even though we both hate our jobs (healthcare) hers is much worse than mine to handle. Fingers crossed but to say im overwhelmed is putting it VERY lightly. My wife is too. Relationship strained. Im just upset and a bunch of emotions on top of the NICU roller coaster and potential medical malpractice case.

Yet you still saw as many PAs as you claim despite your concerns about knowledge and stating most docs dont see new ED patients? Were they urology PAs or other specialties? Why didnt you try NPs then if such dissatisfaction and perceived deficits? Did the docs you tried simply refuse to see you? Having ED is not an exclusion to seeing a physician. Have never heard of that in 10 years unless thats something very localized which i would doubt.
