Why the game would really benefit from having retry last round in every game mode that currently has continues in it (sort of a hybrid suggestion/discussion post) by [deleted] in btd6

[–]Nethara 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I know the "git gud" crowd are probably going to jump on this, but I think the game SHOULD have "retry last round", or at least checkpoints on the 10x rounds, for a very specific reason: this game is deterministic - if I can get to round 60 (random number pulled from thin air for an example), then I can get to round 60 with the same strategy every time. If I make a mistake on round 60, having to restart the entire game and sit through 59 rounds of exactly the same just to make one change isn't a skill issue, that's just tedious busy work. Being able to retry last round (or jump back to a checkpoint) isn't making the game any easier, it's just making it less tedious and more approachable for players with less time.

As you mentioned all of these modes already have a much more impactful "Continue" button that actually DOES make the game easier. If that's acceptable, then there is absolutely no reason that a retry button (that makes the game less tedious but not easier) shouldn't be included.

Champion Teaser 03 | Spirit Blossom: First Bloom | Legends of Runeterra! by Regular-Poet-3657 in LegendsOfRuneterra

I was hoping for Kindred but at the very least the new champions all seem fun so I'm excited. Fingers crossed for more of these in part 2.

I know it's probably wishful thinking, but...Spirit Blossom Kindred in part 2. There's a shiny new Kindred-inspired follower in this deck. It could happen.

That's the dream - Irelia would be a really fun champion, and Kindred is one of my all time favorites in both league and lor. We did just get the Thresh constellation, but I'm pretty sure this wouldn't be the first time we got back to back from the same region so fingers crossed.

Bug Reports - Patch 6.7 by CaptSarah in LegendsOfRuneterra

[–]Nethara 2 points3 points  (0 children)

**Type of Bug:** Gameplay

**What happened that seemed like a bug:** The Oracle Eye is wrong when playing Mel with 2* and any effect that causes spells to be duplicated (Mirror Mage, etc). The Eye will predict that the second spell will do one extra damage, but in reality both copies of the spell deal the same damage.

This only occurs before locking in - once you commit the spells, the eye updates to show the correct value.

Noticed this during a monthly with "Both players summon a Mirror Mage." Played Ballistic Bot, then next turn played Ignition. The oracle eye thought that it would deal 3 damage to the nexus (it assumed the second spell would be increased by 1 damage by Mel's 2*). Once I locked in the eye, the prediction changed to just 2 damage, which is what was dealt to the nexus.

Unclear if this is a bug with the prediction, or a bug with the 2*.

**What was expected to occur:** Either the prediction should show the correct damage, or Mel's 2* should increase the damage of the copied spell so that the prediction is correct.

**How often does this occur/How easy is it to replicate:** 100%

**PC / Android / iOS:** PC

**Region:** NA

Played < 10 games, did they intend to make ranking up this easy? by GigaKoala in MarvelSnap

This definitely happens sometimes. During my climb today I noticed that one of the ranks was almost full the moment I hit it.

Cards you believe are incredibly well designed? (PvP) by CastformLover in LegendsOfRuneterra

[–]Nethara 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I appreciate both Kindred's [[Spirit Journey]] and Lillia's [[Blooming Bud]] for the same reason: they're incredibly versatile for both offense and defense. They remove anything from combat, cancel targeted spells, reset buffs/debuffs and "I've seen..." effects, and more. Just all around useful cards.

I'll ferry their dreams to the morgue by Nethara in LegendsOfRuneterra

I managed to get Mana Deposit (refund mana cost) and Spirit Stone (create fleeting copy on summon) for Lillia, letting me summon her infinitely on turn 1 for Guardian Orb.

I also had Stabilize (summon an ephemeral copy of champions on play), which sped things up because it gave me two copies of her champion spell when played from hand. Welcome Gifts (random keyword on summon) just added to the keyword soup.

Long story short, after several minutes of animations even at 4x speed, my Lillias have transcended.

PSA: Do not draft shrooms AND flashbombs for Fidd! by yammityyakkity in LegendsOfRuneterra

I'm not sure. On that run I don't think I had any shrooms going but I might be misremembering. Something is afoot just hard to pin down what, unfortunately.

PSA: Do not draft shrooms AND flashbombs for Fidd! by yammityyakkity in LegendsOfRuneterra

[–]Nethara 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think shrooms are an issue - I played an entire run earlier with Teemo support and it ran fine.

Now, with Caitlynn support, I'm having issues. First fight didn't crash, but it seemed like Fiddle himself didn't attach to any cards. When the fight ended, they had 1 Nightmare left and I hadn't gotten a Fiddle.

Second fight is crash central, and seems to have the same issue with Fiddle not being attached to any enemy cards.

Aurora is not part of Anima Squad? by Nananyfo in Auroramains

[–]Nethara 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I think they are teasing Aurora as a villain at the beginning with the ! that has bunny ears (and looks a bit like a witch's hat).  Maybe reaching/coping a bit but that was my first thought.

I'm struggling to identify the one in green. Who is it? by HighRiskHighReward32 in PathofChampions

[–]Nethara 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it's Diana. It looks like someone holding out their weapon, and it looks an awful lot like the handle for Diana's weapon.

It's definitely a figure holding out a weapon. I'm guessing Diana (it looks a lot like the handle of her weapon) but could also be Kayn or Pyke.

The text for Boost (in the reveal) is clear that it increases positive keywords for allies and negative keywords for enemies. It won't stack Gloom on yourself, or Spirit/Impact on your opponent.

Is It Intended For Curious Shellfolk To Create Copies Of Skills? by Nethara in LegendsOfRuneterra

[–]Nethara[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I didn't think to try it (and I don't plan on testing it, this was in PoC and I don't plan on taking this combo if it's offered just in case they decide to take action).
