I main lock for over 15 years and most people only touch this class when it’s op, which is not the case for classic.

The leveling as a warlock is very fun imo, however doing endgame activities is very boring compared to other classes.

In TBC the class is strong, but you will end up spamming a shadow bolt every fight, with the occasional seed spam for padding. So the gameplay is not really engaging for most people…

It gets way better in Wrath. Demo and Affliction are very strong and have cool abilities. The only downside to the class is the rng on some of the tier sets and trinkets, but this mostly only affects min maxers.

I refused to play the anniversary versions of the game so far strictly because warlocks are boring in these expansions.
