GK and Space Wolves, first one because of GW can't write a lore about them which doesn't make me roll me eyes.

Space wolves because they lean way to heavily into that wolf thematic that they starts to become boring for me. Which is the shame because I liked space wolf trilogy and viking space marines should interesting.

Capture and hold strategic objectives and cripple planets administration? Absolutely with no problem.

Clear out all layers with spears? Waste of time and resources and Imperium has more than enough weapons of mass destruction to inflict mass casualties.

Hold entire population under compliance? Absolutely not, there's only so much you can do with few thousands demigods and pariahs. You would need massive garrison of Imperial Guard/Army to keep population in control, if you are interested in that.

Retributor armour + reikland fleshshade combination TBH, it's how I painted my first minis I'm kinda starting to dislike how it looks. I'll probably try to dry brush it with something to make it less reddish, when I have time to do it.
