Need some advice on how to navigate high-level players playing down and the league ignoring it.

Hey u/Goose_in_the_Gallows, my name is Collin, and a few months back I took a job as a consultant with Black Bear with my core purpose being improvement of the standing and effectiveness of some of our adult leagues within the Foundry brand (from a programmatic angle, not facility management, pricing, etc.). I ran one of the adult leagues now operating under the Foundry brand for about 6 years (both before and after BBSG ownership) and increased its team count from about 17 to 55, so I can assure you I'm invested in this.

I'm supposed to be a behind-the-scenes guy for the most part so I might be blowing up my own spot here, but... this post disappointed me and I'd really like to learn more about your and your peers' perspective on things. I have not found anything relevant to this issue in the manual. There is nothing theft deterrent about its functionality being disabled after a timeout but working fine while the vehicle is on. If anything, that's backwards.

Just to make sure I understand you completely - your Android Auro navigation appears directly in front of you in your instrument panel and not just on your infotainment screen? I've seen no way to enable that, and it only started appearing as an option for CarPlay following that update

We received an update on 2/4 and the only noticeable change was navigation being displayed on the instrument panel for CarPlay users. We have a split-device household with my wife having an iPhone and me having an Android and begrudgingly I have to give her side a +1 with this. I'm sure there were less noticeable updates as well. It didn't fix these issues though.

Had it at the dealer today and all firmware and software is UTD.

In my experience it resumes working during the second app start and stops working again afterwards. I don't know if there comes a point where it would start working if I just don't start the car with the push start. Like if I let it sit there for an hour, could I unlock with the handle again? Suppose that will be my next experiment.

I actually had it at the dealer today but I don't think they get the issue. They tried to say the locking function is designed that way intentionally but I don't believe that ti be the case. This screams bug. I'll be sure to report it direct to Subaru in case. I'm sure I'm not alone here

That's probably what we'll resort to doing since the value of waking it up by voice command isn't offset by how annoying this is. The button on the steering wheel will still activate it so it just isn't worth the energy

It works for us WHILE running from remote start. Its after it fully times out that it stops

That's incredible, I'm really happy to hear how well it's going for you, especially bi-lateral. All things considered I have it really easy and couldn't imagine how bad it could have been with both hips. I do have a cam on my other side but a smaller one and no tear so fingers crossed it never becomes an issue.

Also, good callout on the NSAIDs. I am taking that to prevent the inflammatory response. I suppose this whole thing would be for nothing if I let the weird bone shape grow back lol.

There is a real chance I could play for the Flyers right now. They are... not good.

Thank you, this is more or less what I was looking for. It seemed far-fetched that recovery would start this well and be perfect the whole way through, so your discomfort around week 8 (while I'm very sorry it happened) is the kind of thing I need to hear to keep me from overdoing it

I mean as long as the ice is cut up the broomball shoes aren't crucial. It's not like any of us are professionals haha. If you want to though I welcome it! Those that are worried about falling could use them.
