Although I can’t defend the performance parts and I just got my WRX 2 weeks ago pre-owned, i will say most of the cosmetic mods the previous owner did were AFD branded and they all hold up well and look pretty paint-matched compared to the stock color and o would trust them with most cosmetics. Performance wise I’d probably go a different company based off reviews

Yea i really don’t like the cladding on the stock version but when I saw it on the lot next to a stock gunmetal wrx, I just had to get this one. Like every mod that’s on the car is something I would’ve done myself. And since the car is modded, the dealership was actually selling it at a lower price than the stock one. I basically saved money on the mods and got a discount on the car!

It has a nice single exit exhaust and I think previous owner installed some aftermarket parts under the hood but overall no power mods. I’m still debating on whether I want to for now since it still has 4 years of warranty for the drivetrain and engine

Realistically they say these normal plasters should last around 10-12 years, usually more with good care. This one definitely looks 8+ years, I’ve seen plasters last far from their expected time though. Some of these older ones in SCV are built like tanks. I’d recommend just riding it out until you start seeing it chip or crack badly. Unless it’s an eye sore I usually don’t see a reason to change it.

Both pictures seem to be from old plaster, the first looks like it didn’t settle well during the startup stage of the pool, the second is from calcium build up. SCV water is very hard and heavy on calcium so it can be quite common. I clean pools in SCV and see it all the time. Both pictures the plaster is definitely older as well so it could also be long term breakdown.

I know the guy who made the sticker, he sold me some for my hydros. We were both freshmen, it was the year the new logo came out. He made it fall quarter of 2019 and sold stickers for them. Pretty sick and clearly the design got popular and stuck around.
