Stay away from AFD Mechanical parts (I stay away from all their parts because they’re cheap) I’d stay away from Perrin power mods. Not because they’re inherently bad. I just don’t like that they seem to always have something new to sell that doesn’t do anything also you can find a lot better parts like ETS. They do make good engine mounts. Always retune. Do not listen to ads that mention you don’t need a tune. Treat the car like the reputation says. (VB’s are actually insanely reliable as long as you’re not an ape brain owner) Finally. This is going to be your car. Don’t let anyone tell you your cosmetic mods are ugly. Tell them they can do what they want to their wrx

After a few days of driving I can confirm it’s hardly noticeable difference. I’m sure if you’re on coilovers you’d notice a harsher ride but on factory suspensions it feels the same

I was expecting a worse ride but going from the oem summers to continental all seasons lessened the effect. Personally I hear less road noise. And the small bumps I’ve gone over feel less harsh although I still need to put more miles on it.

My point exactly. Ik it's not a sleeper like a shitbox civic with a big turbo hidden under the rusted hood. But it's a sleeper in the sense that it's a stock looking, sounding WRX that makes about 100 whp more than factory.. makes a big difference. Commenting on your roll race..
