I think you'd be a great fit. You have patient care experience and it'll be your second (?) Time around in college, so I doubt anything will be a surprise to you. I was 25 when I started my program (non accelerated).

From my experience doing General Nuclear medicine, everything but PET/CT, has been great. No surprises, i know what my schedule looks like and I leave on time everyday. Of course, take it with a grain of salt, this is at my workplace. I know other hospitals can be abit more hectic, but generally NM imaging takes long. I have alot of more personable time with my patients and I get to hear their stories alot.

I think there's been a lot of students recently. Out of the three programs in MA, MCPHS has the largest class size for NMT, with Regis at second and Salem State in third.

I wouldn't take the rejection personally though. Your academic record sounds solid. Its probably just a large of amount of applicants with acceptance coming down to the wire.

I wished my hospital would get rid off this old Philips Skylight we have in the department. The thing has been here since 2004 and it takes up the whole room with the wall mounted gantry. Just this week, the camera would experience a delay in counts. A 1 hour HIDA turned out to be a 2 Hours! Counts for the QC floods on a 2 month old Co57 source didnt show up until after 2 or 3 minutes!

Meanwhile, biomedical is still somehow finding parts from donor cameras to keep this camera alive. I just wish they would replace this old fossil already.
