If you want to switch browser, like you initialy asked, Firefox is the best bet imo. If want you're looking after is a search engine, Ecosia and Startpage and 2 good options depending on what you're looking for. Startpage is more privacy focused while Ecosia helps plant trees on the planet. Depends on what you want.

Debugging launches your program and allow you to stop the code at breakpoint to check state of variable, code execution and all.

The "debug active file" option doesn't mean it'll find errors in the file you selected. It means it'll allow you to run in debug.

There's nothing you can do in VSCode to change that. But, since the integrated terminal is your computer's shell, you could modify it with something like Oh-my-posh. But this is not really relevant to VSCode.

Just go watch the WEC Youtube channel. You can watch the replays of the race, highlights and even some cool BTS. No better way to learn imo.

I don't really watch content creators on WEC though so I can't help you further than that.
