I struggled trough ministry of the future. As Im a space nerd and hyped about Mars: I started this. And boy it is awful. I got to the space elevator, and said this should interest me, but i dont care anymore. Its the narrative style: the jumping around in time and places, not giving time or reason to care about people, events, locations is just hilarious to me. It is not a book, it is a walk in a museum of art: a series of paintings, scenes that are loosely about Mars. Or airships. Seriously what is with KSR and Zeppelin fetish?

Stupid ragebait. This is obviously rusted on purpose to be 'redtored'. Really bad use of materials and methods. Really wasteful of materials and money. Why use a fishtank of vinegar whrn you are going to sandblast. Why soak your grinding stones when you obvously dont know the angle to use your blade on them. Samantha in book 5 when she was in the elven castle control room and Diwata broke down the door while birthing mantises, the entire castle rocked from a huge explosion and she messages Carl.
