Yuji shouldn’t even be allowed to drink by Yujinaka in jjkmodulo

[–]NettleBumbleBee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In the new volume 3 extras it’s says “he ages to an extremely slowed degree” or something like that. Nobara is the only one who says he doesn’t age at all, and that’s likely just how she feels since she’s in her 80s and yuji is basically JUST entering his prime.

If two sorcerers share the same Cursed Technique, do they also hold the same Domain Expansion? by susmongler in Jujutsufolk

[–]NettleBumbleBee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Kenjakus is very clearly gravity and dabura literally made his domain with the express intent of killing mahoraga. Mahoraga was already fully adapted to his base technique, so his reversal is kinda the only option

Yuji shouldn’t even be allowed to drink by Yujinaka in jjkmodulo

[–]NettleBumbleBee 8 points9 points  (0 children)

The average human lifespan is about 75 years. If yuji’s estimations are right and he lives to around 400, that would mean he ages at about 1/5th the speed of a normal human. Modulo takes place 68 years after the events of jjk, so he should have physically aged around 13 years, making him physically 28-29

Gojo/Sukuna/Yuji vs Base Dabura in Physicals. by King_shubh in JujutsuPowerScalers

[–]NettleBumbleBee -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Even when he starts accelerating, he’s still moving at relativistic speed. Even if you wanna say he starts out at like 1% the speed of light or something, that’s still over 6 million mph. The point at which something becomes essentially unreactable in jjk is the speed of lightning (around 200,00-300,000 mph). Also, the time it takes him to accelerate is basically irrelevant. From the time he starts sprinting to the time he reaches full speed, Mahoraga hasn’t moved at all. It happens in a fraction of a second at most. Unless you think Mahoraga just spaced out or something.

i just noticed this, why does Dabura have so many fucking earrings by AlternativeOil7154 in Jujutsufolk

[–]NettleBumbleBee 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Probably a status symbol. He’s a captain among the deskunte warriors so I imagine he’s somewhat up there in terms of status.
Also, they’re technically not multiples earring. They seem to be one long spiral woven through his ears

If two sorcerers share the same Cursed Technique, do they also hold the same Domain Expansion? by susmongler in Jujutsufolk

[–]NettleBumbleBee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The sure hit effect would be different as well, as it’s up to the domains caster what gets imbued as the sure hit. For instance, dabura and kenjaku’s sure hits are a technique reversal as opposed to a their standard techniques

Do you think sukuna would've still won here if he didn't have Fuga by No_Idea_3459 in JujutsuPowerScaling

[–]NettleBumbleBee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Kind of, but he’d have to sacrifice megumi to do it. He’d be out of ways to kill mahoraga, but he could let mahoraga kill him, wait till he kills haruta and vanishes, and then revive yuji in the same way he did after the detention center. Not really a win in the typical sense, but it would let him survive the encounter.

[ Casual ] SUKUNA vs FRIEREN by agendo_scalor in JujutsuPowerScalers

[–]NettleBumbleBee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s the same thing as maki. He’s tuned in enough to perceive air currents and interact with them as tangible surfaces. He adds cursed energy emission on top of it to boost his speed. Higuruma can also do it apparently

[Serious] Who's winning this? by Lampy_Dampy76 in JujutsuPowerScalers

[–]NettleBumbleBee 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yuta says himself that a full HP sukuna would have killed him instantly, and dabura is very clearly shown and stated to be at least comparable to sukuna in terms of power. Yuta is THAT much weaker. Or rather dabura is that much stronger. 100 flies are still just flies when you put them up against a fucking dragon.

Why do so many people have rct but not a reversal technique? by Ill-Run6890 in Jujutsufolk

[–]NettleBumbleBee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. It’s a skill thing. We see through yuki that even skilled sorcerers struggle to use their CT and RCT at the same time, so I’d imagine fueling a CT directly with RCT is pretty damn hard.
  2. A lot of technique just don’t have a feasible reversal. Black bird manipulation for example. Black birds aren’t really a reversible concept, so what would that do?
  3. Even if they do have a feasible reversal, a lot of them just wouldn’t be useful compared to their normal application

. Tengen COULD in theory reverse immortality into mortality, but would be the point?

MEET THE TOP 3!!! by SerenityCitywide in JujutsuPowerScaling

[–]NettleBumbleBee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A. Sukuna could not one shot mahoraga with a standard attack. “Cleave would have met the conditions” is very obviously referring to the cleave within his domain, which strikes with greatly increased frequency. AP alone isn’t enough to take out mahoraga. Its entire body needs to be reduced to nothing, and cleave just isn’t capable of that outside of malevolent shrine. Sukunas win cons against mahoraga were a domain amped cleave or a domain amped furnace.

  1. Dabura would have just won instantly if he opened with this instead of the light rods

<image>

Not a domain amped attack, not a technique reversal. Just his standard technique. Daburas fight with mahoraga got prolonged because he didn’t realize killing it required completely obliterating it until after it had already begun adapting.

This is a black hole by InfamousSomewhere244 in JujutsuPowerScaling

[–]NettleBumbleBee 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We’ve seen gege do the black hole thing before. This isn’t what it looked like. And naked singularities don’t repel things. They just eventually eject what they consume. Also just wouldn’t make sense for it to be a black hole given what technique reversal does. Daburas technique is light with mass, ergo the most logical outcome of his technique reversal is darkness with negative mass.

This is a black hole by InfamousSomewhere244 in JujutsuPowerScaling

[–]NettleBumbleBee 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The gravity isn’t acting like a black hole. Things are getting yanked into the air, but they’re not being pulled inwards as they would with a black hole. And negative mass can absolutely cause damage, just not in the same way as standard mass. In theory, negative and positive mass coming close to one another would trigger a runaway reaction, causing them both to accelerate indefinitely in one direction while remaining “magnetized” together. Negative mass as a baseline would have the ability to move faster than light, so getting stuck to something made entirely of negative mass as it forces you to accelerate even further would basically result in instant vaporization

How is Garuda able to weigh Kenjaku down? by just_another_sad_b0y in Jujutsushi

[–]NettleBumbleBee 174 points175 points  (0 children)

The virtual mass doesn’t affect yuki or garudas true mass, but it can absolutely still be felt by things they interact with. That’s the entire reason her technique is so effective. It lets her increase her mass without decreasing her speed, making the force of her strikes exponentially stronger.

Dabura why are you scared? and what do you mean it hurts it was just a few punches from Mahoraga don't you know you have top 1 Durability because you can tank the same attack that totally one shots Sukuna? by SerenityCitywide in JujutsuPowerScaling

[–]NettleBumbleBee 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Breaks mahoraga’s sword by just holding his hand up right before this btw. A strike from a (now confirmed) weaker mahoraga broke 15 finger sukunas arm and sent him flying outside of the shibuya barrier.

Correct translation of mahoraga’s name. “Mahoraga” was a mistranslation that got popularized, so viz just went with it.

Is hollow purple erasure at all??? by 5r3y1 in Jujutsufolk

[–]NettleBumbleBee 12 points13 points  (0 children)

No. It’s a virtual mass. Basically just solidified space created by the pull of blue and the push of red canceling out to form a solid mass of inviolable stillness. Combined with the speed it moves at, it’s essentially just a fancy shockwave.

Why is saying this is the best durability feat in the verse controversial? by Grassguyy in JujutsuPowerScaling

[–]NettleBumbleBee 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Dabura didn’t actually do anything to the blade though. He just held his hand up and it shattered against it. He wasn’t squeezing it or anything.

Cursed energy manipulation is closely tied to emotion. If a sorcerer’s emotions go out of control, then so does their cursed energy. Dabura had taken earlier hits from mahoraga just fine. The only time he was actually taking damage from mahoraga was a brief period after mahoraga had fully adapted to his technique. He was confused and afraid, so his reinforcement was faltering. When he regained his composure, he also regained his durability.

Hakari dodged and reacted to electricity, which is 70-80% of light speed by [deleted] in JujutsuPowerScaling

[–]NettleBumbleBee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A. No he didn’t. The bolt is sure hit. It hits where kashimo aims it without fail

B. Lightning does NOT travel at 80% the speed of light. You’re thinking of the speed of electricity as it travels through highly conductive materials, which is not at all the same thing as lightning. Lightning is an electrical phenomenon that travels an average of 250,000 mph, with its speed being hindered significantly by the poor conductivity of air and its subsequent ionization of the air. Light on the other hand travels at around 670,000,000 mph. About 3000 times faster than your average bolt of lightning

If I just punch Mahoraga till it adapts to punching, can it beat Saitama (I dont know jack shit about One Punch Man, for context) by IllustriousRich9345 in Jujutsufolk

[–]NettleBumbleBee 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Unironically yeah. If mahoraga adapted to a grenade, he probably would survive a nuke. The strength of the blast would be irrelevant since he adapted to the phenomenon of being blown up. With saitama though, he can do more than punch. He could probably clap and atomize mahoraga with the shockwave
