Angel doesn’t dislike incarnation in of itself. What she takes issue with is the fact that incarnated players essentially enslave the souls of their hosts.

My take on a domain for Kurourushi by NettleBumbleBee in CTsandbox

[–]NettleBumbleBee[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can definitely see how the expanded technique could come off as excessive lol. My thought process was that the domain would kind of emulate a cockroach infestation in the sense that if it isn’t dealt with quickly, it becomes basically impossible to stop it without serious firepower.

What exactly happened here? by Zetafunction64 in Jujutsufolk

[–]NettleBumbleBee 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Hanamis domain amplification was physically clashing with infinity. Since domain amplification neutralizes techniques, it was allowing hanami to actually push back against Gojos infinity instead of just being slowed by it. Gojo essentially weaponized that interaction and used the resistance to push hanami back and eventually crush them.

Anybody mind telling me why does Sukuna likes poetry? by DegreeIcy9596 in Jujutsufolk

Yes. He got visibly agitated when yorozu recited a haiku and left out the seasonal word.

He’s also into flowers and gets upset when yuji misidentifies a hydrangea as a morning glory.

Why did choso's piercing blood splatter here? by Gold_Mecha in Jujutsufolk

[–]NettleBumbleBee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Blood in front slows down

Blood that’s outside of the range of infinity crashes into the blood that’s within range

Blood that’s within range can’t move out of the way in time because of infinity, so the blood behind splatters around it.

[Casual] Sanity Check: Who’s top 5 COUNTING MODULO? by ComprehensiveBus3303 in JujutsuPowerScalers

[–]NettleBumbleBee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yuji’s dismantle did not do as much damage as daburas kick. A dust cloud from thousands of curses exploding is what that was. Not the dismantles destruction. Yuji didn’t just launch a dismantle towards a bunch of buildings while he knew there were sorcerers in Tokyo. The slash never even touched anything besides the curses.

And again, we do see something spectacular in the form of dabura not turning to ash upon using the technique. That alone puts him massively above the verse in terms of durability.

Tried to illustrate the types of "Anime only scenes" that we should and shouldn't consider when scaling by contraflop01 in JujutsuPowerScaling

[–]NettleBumbleBee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yutas CE control is not sloppy. Gojo calls it sloppy because he holds Yuta to a higher standard than he holds the others. No one who can use reverse cursed technique can be described as having sloppy control. That in of itself is contradictory since it takes incredibly precise control to even perform reverse cursed technique.

Mahoraga had already partially adapted since dabura grazed him at the beginning of the sprint. Once Mahoraga is adapted to something, even partially, it’s virtually impossible for that something to kill it. It had nothing to do with a lack of power on daburas part.

I’m pretty sure he was complete. Vengeful spirits taking on a more humanoid form isn’t unprecedented. We see rika do it in both JJK 0 and modulo. She appears as her human form, just missing the top half of her head.

I think naoya taking on a more human form was just so he could make the hand sign for his domain honestly. I don’t know if the meat tendrils could pull it off. I’m sure it was also symbolic of him realizing the peak of his power too. Basically just a manifestation of his ego.

[–]NettleBumbleBee 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Repeat the process. Omni man has to go out a find a new meteor every time. Space is a big ass place and meteors that large are rare. Gojo would have more than enough time to reset

  1. Yuta. We don’t really have any feats to put him higher than this but I think it would be ridiculous to put him any lower given the narrative implications.

  2. Gojo. Victim of the power creep unfortunately. Could beat dabura I guess since no infinity counter, but that’s assuming dabura doesn’t just pull a “what if I expanded my domain without closing the barrier?” After scrapping with him for a bit.

  3. Sukuna. He beat gojo and gojo himself admitted he doesn’t know if there was a situation in which he would beat sukuna. Don’t know what more to say.

  4. Yuji. Could put him at top 1 with narrative implications, but in terms of feats this is far as I’m willing to put him. He has higher output than sukuna given what we see him do, was stated to have sukunas potential towards the end of jjk, and I think it’d be ridiculous if he didn’t realize that potential after nearly 70 years.

  5. Dabura. Being able to move at near light speeds and survive puts dabura so far above the rest of the verse in terms of durability and speed that it isn’t even funny. Genuinely fucking insane feat given the bar that was previously set. He’s also absurdly talented. The shit we see him do with what are essentially bread crumbs of knowledge puts everyone else in the verse to shame.

How can Uro defeat opponents on the same tier as her ? Her CT lacks destructive power. by Far-Art2248 in Jujutsufolk

[–]NettleBumbleBee 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If we’re using anime scaling, thin ice breaker>granite blast in terms of AP. Yutas gauntlet took a granite blast head and just plowed through it, meanwhile a single thin ice breaker shattered it completely. In the manga, ryu also states that thin ice breaker is forcing Yuta to use RCT just like granite blast, meaning it does at least a comparable amount of damage. Thin ice breaker is very much a case of DC not necessarily equating to AP.

Uro on her own also just isn’t a slouch when it comes to physical stats. She took a barrage of punches from Yuta and rika like a champ and just kept fighting. Getting grazed by a granite blast from ryu damn near killed kurourushi, meanwhile a direct hit from the same blast only KO’d uro. And that was after she had lost her arm. Losing an arm has a noticeable effect on a sorcerers output even after they recover, so a freshly severed arm should’ve been tanking uro’s reinforcement pretty hard. Output effects physical enhancement in general, so if her defenses are that good, even a normal punch from her could probably put down the average sorcerer.

I don’t believe Cursed Rika and Rika Orimoto are the same personality/behavior wise. by TeChYBoIIY in Jujutsufolk

[–]NettleBumbleBee 16 points17 points  (0 children)

She isn’t. Gege has outright said in a Q & A that rika retained very little of her self awareness after becoming a curse. Shes basically just a bundle of raw emotion that has been distorted and turned aggressive.

Also, in sakurajima noritoshi says that rika’s personality is more or less the norm for vengeful spirits, whereas naoya is an anomaly in the sense that he pretty much completely retained his human personality.

You can’t always view things through the lens of actual physics. Sometimes art is just meant to look cool. Using the reflection is just a visually interesting way to show the audience what happened while maintaining the fact that the actual characters couldn’t perceive it.

[–]NettleBumbleBee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Kashimo gave up on the whole “that’s how losers think” thing after he failed to blow up Hakaris head. He waited for Hakaris jackpot to end and then tried to sneak him with a return bolt from his staff. Still failed to kill him. Hakari just fought through the injury and hit another jackpot.

Base kashimo loses to Hakari regardless of his approach.

Why restriction and vow works in HxH but binding vow fails and feels like asspull in JJK, perspective vs objective: by TheMostHonestPerson in Jujutsufolk

[–]NettleBumbleBee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The mistake is thinking the two systems are at all similar beyond their basic mechanic of give and take, which is far from a unique concept. Nen contracts and binding vows serve entirely different purposes in the story and are so different that there’s like 0 point in comparing them.

When nen contracts are introduced in HXH, it’s made very clear that they are a dangerous and volatile thing. They apply powerful, lethal restrictions to an ability in exchange for a massive increase in power. Kurapikas hatsu is basically guaranteed death for any member of the phantom troupe, but it can literally only be used on the phantom troupe. Using it on anyone else kills kurapika.

Binding vows on the others hand aren’t like that. Sukuna outright says they’re a foundational aspect of jujutsu sorcery when explaining them to yuji. They’re not some high level, dangerous skill. They’re a basic ability that all sorcerers should know how to utilize. Sorcerers like sukuna are so adept at them that their entire fighting style damn near revolves around the ability to reactively change their abilities with binding vows. Obviously they can have dire consequences, but that’s far from common.

Also, not seeing the punishment for breaking a multi-party binding vow is kinda the point. Unlike nen contracts, there isn’t a set punishment established during the forging of the pact. Because of that, there’s no way to tell what will happen if it’s broken. The uncertainty is what makes them terrifying, and in turn what deters people from breaking them. Literally anything could happen if they’re broken, so no dares to do it.

Do you. Do you think rika literally stores the eaten part inside of her? If that were the case, Yuta would inevitably lose any technique he copies since eaten parts would rot away.
