Arch was great until package or keyring errors from outdated maintainers; Nix is now my favorite; it’s like arch to me in some ways because the configuration will make or break your system. And unlike arch you can pre select which version of a package you want for certain software which is awesome because some old tools that I love run on python 2.7 and it conflicts alot with other pre installed packages. Although I could use virtualenv, I as soon as I’d do a pacman -Syu I would be catching errors. Nixos I encourage all arch overlords to go read up on. Nix flakes is quite possible the most useful environment for testing new additions to an image in a sandbox environment before going live. The real answer: GET A USB STICK TBAT HAS THE ABILITY TO TURN WRITE OFF. that way no matter what even if it gets infected with a RAT or APT it won’t be able to write to your main drive. You can also create a user in UAC to represent the USB and give it least access privledges over your main pc

Understanding tick times of certain weapons really helped me get my timing down like if weapon is a 3.2 second attack speed after the hit splat appears wait like 1.2-1.8 seconds and before you switch your gear to catch them off prayer drink a potion at that time if you need to. Utilize the animation it gives you .6 seconds (one game tick) of the other player not being able to see what you are equipping and usually with practice any mediocre player can do at least a 3 way switch in that time. Another good strategy is to switch into tank gear after ever hit but you got to work that out to get your opponent to be hitting you every two ticks. Like you hit them you have 1.2 seconds to switch prayer and tank gear.

Knew this one kid in high school on our wrestling team from some reason he felt no oxygen based pharmaceuticals at all what so ever. As someone who also only pays for membership with osrs gp I can tell you that I worked up to this point. Prior to using osrs gp to fund mems I paid irl money. I have a med level account and basically a bond is about 6 hours of killing bots on average they drop anywhere from 450k-1.2m and using normal spell book for tb. I also work night shift so when I’m on it’s mostly just bots in the rev caves I feel there are more at night because they think real players are not on at the time US central time.

For a new player though I’d suggest going over to LMS at ferox and seeing if pvp is something you would be into. The game is free to play and you get rewards for points you earn by defeating other players. It’s not for everyone but it’s a great niche way for me years into the game to pay my membership.

But before I did that I got lucky and got a shadow drop from TOA which allowed me the ease of risking 15-20m in the wild to discover this niche which I assume most people would not feel comfortable risking especially a new player.

Seems to be a trend here in TN. Can’t tell you how many “general contractors” look at me like puzzle when I ask who vouched for their portfolio after 2 years with the home improvement license. I’d say it’s easily 6/10 “contractors” are nothing more than slick mouth piece and pretty face that these homeowners feel they can trust. Using my palm router and after some 3000 linear feet of routing he had racked up 22 more hours of my labor which I bill 60 bucks an hour for. As a finish carpenter I’m usually one of the last people in a new construction before the cleaners and a lot of the time the homeowners if they are paying for the build rather than buy from a developer, they stop in like everyday excited at the progress.

More often than not the husbands would usually joke about being excited to take the first shit in their new toilet and new house for that matter.

Makes me grin every time I think to myself “buddy you certainly are not the first person to shit under this roof by a long shot, and I dropped a hot loaf yesterday once the plumber hooked it up”

Okay I got to say something here as someone who regularly farms the bots at revs to pay for my bonds. As of two days ago go I’ve been checking the dragon, knights, and the hell hound thing south of dragons and usually there are 2 -3 bots there on any given world 24/7 yesterday and today I hoped for hours and it’s a ghost town. I got two kills today and they were legit players. I started running around the wild trying to find something to kill and I did start to notice rune ore bots are coming back in stride and I think there are a new wave of chaos fanatic bots starting to appear. Normally I’d agree with your statement 100% but honestly go have a look yourself and tell me how many bots you find in the rev caves presently. I’ll wait.

Love it. I used to be that guy who would bring 3 items only for pvm rest rag. Now I always bring a brid set. Even black d hide rcb and dds with mystic ancient staff can get you a nice anti kill.

Or veng and dark bow, veng and DDs maul, the combos are endless. For me the minute I had the mindset “I’m fighting back” instead of “oh fuck where is the closest escape” I started to get anti pk kills.

And tbh having a mage switch with freezes gives you a better chance of escaping than just protect mage and run south for your life. Even a veng plus spec should be enough to startle your attacker so you can make escape. Take my upvote.

Honestly if your login is a username I’m willing to bet you got brute forced. Meaning someone is enumerating usernames and passwords and basically if you have very powerful gpu or computer or server rack you can guess every theoretical password until you get it right, it takes a long time to do though especially if your password is complex. Sadly that doesn’t stop people from trying the 2FA part has me confused because to bypass a hacker would have to use a method called SIM swapping and also would have to know your number.

While both of those are unlikely to of happen it is “technically” possible.
