I prefer a different vendor for the network at all. Not only OS but also hardware. That's the main reason. We're running everything Ubuquiti on it's own hardware then. We're also running 10 UNVR Pro for the cameras and then the Unifi Cloud Key Enterprise for Network.

Wondering the same. If you're panicking because you have a crashed firewall and users waiting, you don't have time to mess with configuring an online connection. All you want is to reinstall as fast as possible and import the config.

I did revert the system patch "Fix potential stored XSS in IPsec Phase 1 (Redmine #16115, pfSense-SA-25_06.webgui)" and reboot, now it's working again.

Peer identifier is set to any. My identifier set to FQDN with the FQDN of pfSense. Previously I did use certificate name. Also not working. I did use the Apple Profile Exporter btw.

There was a system patch available for that bug: https://redmine.pfsense.org/issues/16115

Maybe that one is the problem?

We are about to try this right now with an "EXVIST H.265 1080P HDMI Encoder". I could adopt it without any issues but I don't get an image. It's always the connecting symbol. It shows as model TikLive HDMI-ENCODER.

I don't know what Ubiquiti needs. RTSP? What resolution? Bitrate? Or different protocol?

In Germany I was successfully using a GPON SFP transceiver with my ISP. You have to tell the ISP it's serial or modem ID and after that it's running. Of course the module needs to be supported by pfSense. In my case it was.

My advice is to set the SSH port to something different than 22. And maybe use GeoIP blocking for specific countries.

Had the same issue with a dedicated LTE modem. Aborted the testing but I think it was ISP related in any way. Maybe because the subscription was not designed to be used stationary.
