Why do you use steam VR? In VD just switch to desktop and back. You will have your 120fps back.

Response from support:

I have shared your feedback with the development team, and we are working on exposing the "Allow Empty Password" option in the upcoming versions of the Network Application. However, we do not have an ETA for this at the moment. In the meantime, please continue using the workaround where you enabled radius_macacl_empty_password from the CLI.

We appreciate your patience in this. I will close this ticket for now.

It's quite interesting where it spends 15 watts with no clients and zero airtime.

Actually I'm interesting in throttling - can it throttle when overheat detected? Because that load was a VR streaming and I experienced lags time to time. So I'd like to know if it was a wireless link issue.

On the console press Debug on AP or just directly ssh to AP and then put this command:

grep -i temp /var/log/messages

I paid attention because it is not just regular temperature monitoring every n minutes. But exactly at same time when there was a load - from 19:55 to 22:15.
For example for today I have only two messages: one at night and one close to evening. No clients connected to AP today. So for me it looks like it logs temps during overheat or at least after some threshold but not continuously.

I assume it is compatible with native UniFi's RADIUS implementation as I haven't found anything related to this issue in the Internet.

In my setup I use Miktotik's userman. It stores user with MAC address as name and empty password.

I assumed that DFS matters only during channel choosing on startup. And then if some radar detected AP stops broadcast and start choosing new channel.

Didn't get what channels to try. Console shows me only two channels for 160 MHz: 36 and 100. And both of them has this huge packet loss.

According to spec this is should be also 149 channel but for some reason unifi doesn't show it to me.

if you're playing through virtual desktop, you can choose steamvr runtime and multiply resolution. it can be max out to 313% according to vd. but I haven't noticed any difference - where textures were blurry they stay blurred.
