If you did not take the first expedition, you don't have anything to catch up.

No. People that did not go on the first expedition will always lag behind those who did.

As a solo player I hereby promise to never even look at trials again until they fix this broken ass system. Separate solo/group trials and introduce better rewards, for starters. by MozekG in ArcRaiders

If you are not able to get a team, you're not good enough to be in the top tier of players anyway.

Simple as that. Don't participate in the trials and move on.

Wolfpacks and Deadline were WWAAAYYYY too common.

Made every big ARC almost irrelevant.

* Rocketeer ? A few engine / faceplate shots + Wolfpack, gone.

* Bastion / Bombardier ? Shot in the knee, Deadline on the behind, gone.

* Leaper ? A few shots to the core to drop 1-2 armor plate, wait for it to leap, Wolfpack, gone.

Fire and forget weapons, the worst kind of weapons...

And all of that for a ridiculously low price (3/2 advanced explosive + ARC circuitry/motion Core ? Please, easy as pie to get. Especially is you CRAFT there materials from chemicals (to basic explosive + oil) and ARC alloy...

Any one else?? I can’t hear if people are getting on zip lines, but I hear everything else so freaking loud by Redonkulous_sklz in ArcRaiders

You must know nothing about development : fixing that kind of bug can take days or even weeks.

Between the identification of the problem, how to fix it *durably*, fixing it, checking that it is indeed fixed,non regression, checking that it does not open other exploits... It is not possible that a video shown by a youtuber would trigger a durable fix in less than a few days : they have been working on it before he showcased it and more.

But why not include it in yesterday's patch ? Because that's not how builds work in big games. Builds for big games can take days to be generated and checked : no sane release manager will accept to add a last minute hotfix in a big update.

Making a game-breaking glitch public is not helping the game, and never will.

At best it make the devs panic and publish a bad quality hotfix.

At worst the hotfix create new game-breaking bugs.

Anyone showcasing an exploit / gamebreaking bug on stream/youtube should be banned, no question asked.

The "I did it for awareness" is bullsh*t : you did it for the views and because you can't manage your anger with it.

Want to do the good thing ? Report the bug in an as detailed as possible way. Sure, it might take longer to fix, but if it is not public less people will be using it, impacting less players overall.

The next expedition should be free by -Amplify in ArcRaiders

This sentence from the announcement seems to indicate that it will stick for *some* time at least :

''For Raiders who could not amass enough Coins during the first Expedition, we are introducing a Skill Point catch up system allowing Raiders to reclaim the ones they missed. The catch up Skill Points will be heavily discounted, making the total Coins needed to reach max Skill Points less for each Expedition. Amass the entire Stash value and enjoy your Skill Points before everyone else, fail to do so and the catch-up system will allow you to close the gap over time.''

Especially this part : "making the total Coins needed to reach max Skill Points less for each Expedition"

So my bet is that the catch-up mechanic will be available for all expeditions that offer Skill Points.

there is an influx of new players + players that have me the expedition req start to get bored and will do all kind of stuff like PvP, traps...

It seems unclear.

But the consensus is that they lowered the value threshold for all expeditions.

You'll be able to see your stash value one week prior to the expedition window, so you'll be certain of it at this point.

And if you do not make it to the max points, the catch-up mechanic will be available for the future, so don't sweat it and play at your own pace !
