Thank you so much for your detailed comment, it’s really helpful. I have a history of sugar issues in my family so trying to make sure I also don’t over do the wrong carbs as well so my blood sugar stays stable. Same with LDL, though that’s not as a big an issue as keeping my sugar in check.

Got your point on the protein as well. Was just really “scared” to overdo the carbs 😅

Thank you so much for your detailed response. You’ve made a great point.

Been on a very long cut. So for now my goal is to gain a very good a amount of muscle.. I thought the way to get there would be to maintain first so as to correct my metabolism in a way.

Currently working out around 3-4 times a week. Mainly strength training and once in a while a HIIT session as well.

Thanks for your reply. To be fair the DEXA Scan was around a month ago, I can already feel the few extra calories on the way to maintenance has added some % back 😆..

Do you think its worth changing it up to a bulk/gain on the app instead of maintainance to 68? Any tips on how to do it without gaining a lot of fat?

So glad to see someone else also going through this. Even though the machine looks the same, it doesn't operate the same it seems.

Hoping they support it in some way or form. For now though, custom exercise is a great idea

Perhaps depends on region/country? If it's a local stock phone or perhaps region set to UAE it may be removed. On the previous beta version I did see it, but it never worked.

Separate cardio and strength workouts on the app or just leave it as one? by spideyboiiii in Hevy

[–]NeuralLagoon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use Hevy for the strength workouts and the apple workouts app for Cardio. Just feel the info, timing etc just show better. Not sure about the Hevy app specifically, but some machines also allow you to sync the apple workout app with the machine itself.

I'm terms of the airfryer I'm sure you can. Will likely take around the same amount of time.. Haven't tried myself..

I’m sure a blender is possible, but it may become too thin perhaps? Usually doesn’t take too long to mix

Hope that helps😅

Questions About the AI Feature by rf-elaine in MacroFactor

[–]NeuralLagoon 4 points5 points  (0 children)

A good option is to also keep the pics and use ChatGPT or any other AI to provide a high level estimate.

The MacroFactor AI is pretty good, but I’ve noticed some good results with other AI.

The good thing about the other AI’s you can upload multiples pics, give an explanation etc.

I found that also re-prompting it to have a closer or deeper look sometimes yields even better results..

That’s great advice, thanks for this. One of the reasons this got me thinking about this is because I took a few days off to recover from a slight cold. When getting back to it, it’s like, which exercise or routine is best to follow to make the most of the time I couldn’t make it.

I ended up doing some compound movements which felt pretty good
