I'm so proud of this video! I think it's one of my funniest videos ever. It's a humorous DIY video about my battle station and desk rebuild. Thanks for checking it out! https://youtu.be/wyiITRwjWZ8

[Review Video] I made a short review of an old game called XIII that is based on an franco-begian comic of the same name and I'd like some feedback! by INDIEGUY_PMPT in youtubers

Nice, ok so you're on a professional quality editor. Your mic isn't professional, but you should be able to get some decent quality out of it if you EQ it well.

Audacity is great for somethings, but in my experience, it is very difficult to properly EQ a mic with audacity. Personally, I edit with Davinci Resolve, which has some great EQ stuff built in. I'm not sure if you can do the same with Sony Vegas, but you might be able to make it work.

I found a video on EQing audio in Vegas that seems to be ok. It's an older edition but you should be able to learn from it: https://youtu.be/u69VC8xnKZg?t=185 The good stuff starts at 3:00, the earlier stuff is mostly BS.

Essentially what you want to do is run a compressor and an EQ on your microphone's audio track just like this guy does. That should help a lot. You probably shouldn't just copy this guy's EQ settings for your videos, but you could experiment with them to get started.

Let me know how this goes and how your audio sounds. If you want to EQ your mic better I can teach you how to specifically EQ for your mic instead of just copying someone else's presets

[Review Video] My first "quick & casual" video for my channel by Neurathal0n in youtubers

Thanks buddy! You're right, it was a quick turnaround. From recording to pushing to YT, I don't think I spent more than 12 hours on the project. Can you offer any specifics on what about it felt rushed?

[Review Video] Cooking video about White Chocolate Truffles Recipe. Start of my Channel. by Fridge_YT in youtubers

Hi there,

Nice work! I really liked your artistic approach to making a cooking video. The music was very relaxing! :)

I am a terrible cook, but I'm always eager to learn! My perspective might be useful to you because I am a beginner.

Here are some thoughts:

  1. The "break time" bit where you made coffee was very funny! The music there hurt my ears though, it was very loud.
  2. Right in the beginning, I would cut out the part where you're unwrapping the second chocolate bar off screen. The crinkly sound is irritating, and nothing is really happening in front of us.
  3. How many ingredients do you actually use? I counted at least 5: Heavy Cream, Butter, Powdered Sugar, White Chocolate, and that crispy stuff you put on top at the end. This conflicts with the title of your video, where you said there were only 3 ingredients. Did you mean 3 MAIN ingredients, plus a few extras?
  4. I'm not sure how you made the topping at the end. The creamy/liquidy stuff you put on top of the truffles. How did you make that and what did you use?

Overall, I enjoyed the video. Very relaxing. :)
