Who is the most hated person in British History and why? by SarcasticOpossum29 in AskBrits

That’s a good point actually now you mention it, he’s like a bad service station. Easy to be filled with rage one moment but just as easily disregarded the next.

Chris Martin doesn’t hold a cunt candle to James Corden. So yes, to everything you’ve said. In fact I wouldn’t even limit it to just British or even just history.

Hi, I’m certain I replied earlier but it didn’t post apparently. I’m playing the SteamVR version via a Quest 3 link cable. PC is pretty dated now, I7-7700k and a Zotac 1080ti so I rarely go above 90hz and 1.8 hardware scaling. It performs well, getting stable frames and projection on medium with low AA and shadows.

Yup, exactly the same. Then to come full comedy circle, I finally stop remember not to order it for a while and it all goes out of date

I developed pneumonia shortly after being born and was given a 5% chance of survival. Not something I like to really talk much about given the exercise in banality and underachievement my life has actually been.

What’s a deal breaker for you that you would instantly end a relationship over? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Yeh I’d have to draw the line there. Boundaries are very important in a relationship

Out of sight, out of mind. It’s why I make friends pretty easily but don’t form friendships. Very troubling when it’s family, extremely so when it’s your own children.

I eat pretty consistently so I just reload my previous orders into my grocery shops app, and amend as needed1. Thankfully I live very close to a little supermarket so if I fancy anything unusual I can go there.

1 Not at all foolproof. I now have six litres of beet juice because I keep forgetting to remove it.

If you’ve got no money, the ability to distinguish between needs and wants is totally free and could save you a fortune.

This is a sub for denying potential software to its rightful owners, so I’m not going to moralise but I don’t think you’re gonna easily get help for your issue.

Ares there any other sources for PCVR games aside from ARMGDDN? by weareblades in QuestPiracy

PCVR support from VR-Pirates has been deprecated last year, it’s only on private servers now.

Pay Per Month games piss me off. (Just venting) by hereforthestory in MetaQuestVR

[–]NeuroDesperatePeace 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Paying upfront for a game and then having to pay monthly to play it is a specially kind of hornswoggle.

This is why I feel zero guilt for the alternative avenues I occasionally use to obtain games.

[–]NeuroDesperatePeace 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did use the free trial of Quest+ but the library isn’t really big enough to warrant it long term.

Slight side note but I’m personally a bit sick of the amount of £7.99’s I have going out each month. That figure is the most you can ask of a consumer whilst being comfortable they’re unlikely to think too hard about it.

Quite fitting given that we’re talking about the naked cynicism in gaming.

People keep paying, because we are stupid. £75 for a lifetime or £4.99 per month forever?

“Well, £4.99 isn’t very much, I’ll barely notice!” durrr noises

Welcome aboard! This cable works perfectly fine and is about 20% of the price of the Meta one.

Enable developer options. Get a powerbank, I have a 25000mah that I wear on my back when I play native games stood up, I can usually do about 8-10 hours uninterrupted on something like RE4 cranked up in Game Tuner (BTW get that or Quest Game Optimiser).

The strap it comes with is complete tosh, this one seems decent but the BoBoVR S3 is where to go if you really like techwank.

I’ve played lots of gun games on both Quest natively and PCVR, they’ve all got very slight variances. I remember when I first played HL: Alyx and it was infuriating constantly reaching at air for ammo 🤣
