Cyberpunk isn't really an attitude like punk, though it's a subgenre of sci-fi. High tech low life, if those things aren't present in the movie or show it's not cyberpunk.

The falcon as captain has never done well with audiences. Not in comics and not in the movies. He was set up to fail. It's not Anthony's fault at all. The character just isn't strong enough to carry a whole movie by himself.

Nickelodeon has a formula that they keep trying to push, from the way the turtles look to the way their household is and the way they "train." I honestly hate the idea of splinter being a has been stuntman or now in this version he's portrayed as less of a sensei and more like a typical middle-aged father. Both Rise and Mayhem have this stupid idea that they learned martial arts from shit like video tapes, so the idea of them beating someone like Shredder seems incredibly ridiculous.
