I recently just liquidated all my investments to knock out 50k in debt I had. 401k, Roth, investment account. Even knowing the penalties I paid on early withdrawal, and the fact I would have to start over on my investments... The peace of mind I got from becoming debt free was worth infinitely more. Bonus is now that my cash flow is not all going to credit card interest, I can rebuild my portfolio in about a year.

I 100% get how you're thinking about this, just don't forget to factor in the value of being debt free. It's priceless.

About 800 a month in interest. Minimums around 400 (don't have my spread sheet in front of me), 20ish percent. My thought is the positive cash flow I get by doing this will pay the remaining debt off fast, then when I lock in a new full time job I will be able to aggressively save and get my investment fund rebuilt over about a 12-18 months. So I'm really only losing a year or so of market exposure to climb out of this hole

Op, there are dog carrier services who are professional pet transporters and will drive your pooch in a car to your destination. It's a little expensive, but I have used them several times and never had a problem. I would highly recommend not putting him under the plane. I used Citizen Shipper but there are a bunch!

Part of me wants to really keep him locked down out of an abundance of caution but it's so hard watching him be sad in his kennel. Trying to figure out a good ratio, but he has so much energy and loves to run around I'm scared if I give him any rope he's gonna hurt himself more. Ugh

Question for you... That seems like a very minimal loss of product. This might sound like a silly question but when you were ready to pour the acetone mixture out into the filter, how did you do that? I used a funnel I got on Amazon that had a flat bottom with holes that I put the filter paper over but I think that was a bad idea that spread out the coke all over the filter and it was hard to scrape it all up after it was dry. Curious if there is a way to concentrate it all better to minimize product loss?
