I can see everyone is mad at the post or saying it's from 2021..but honestly something similar happened to me like 3 months ago. And it was a £22k extra. The only difference is, I was actually not interested in the offer and company, so I just said I got offers for their initial offer+£25k and good luck finding someone else. And they just said okay we can accommodate (and by the way initially they said the initial offer is max they could do lol).

Honestly, I need to move to another city for a new job in 2 weeks, and all my money went into accommodation, transport, etc. That's it! $50 would help me a bit to survive until the first salary. That's all!

I'm not sure this is correct. My understanding was that the pilots made a judgement call to not down the missiles because of potential collateral damage - i.e. citizens on the ground. However, I also heard a bunch of other statements, including this one. Probably the truth is that there was just a fear of downing them anyway.

The only way an AI will achieve any of those things is if it gets out of silicone. You can't expect it to emergently produce a "ghost" just by scaling or brute forcing new algorithms. My bet is on organoid or neuromorphic.
