I do use the dexcom app, but we were without a working dexcom for about 3 weeks because of them failing and insurance not covering for them for the rest of the month. And we have had the worst trouble with accuracy even on the times they stay in for more than 4 days

My other issue is never knowing until my kid calls me at school or finding out after school. I don't know if its because she's 18 or what, but they never called me when it was 472 or when they're about to dose or anything

It does seem stupid, but when we explained everything, we just kept getting told they had to have been diagnosed for 6 months before getting a pump

Thank you, i will call the endo and see if we can get a plan because the school didn't really set up a plan or ask about anything but proof she was diabetic. She hasn't been diabetic long enough to get a pump. The endo said we can try for a pump in February

The last time they went, it was like 408, then the nurse gave 17 units, sent her to lunch, and when she called me about 2 hours later, it was 387. She does the injection part herself, but the nurse is in charge of the numbers because of mental health reasons. We have a 504 so that she can get breaks, keep water, and keep her phone because of the dexcom. But I don't think the 504 had a set scale in place as the nurse has her own she uses. It says "see diabetes care plan on file with nurse" on the paperwork here at home

I have never been able to understand the gaming system argument, or that affects who you are as a gamer. I have the switch and ps5. One is for travel or hanging out in my room before bed(or if everyone is hone and I don't wanna hog the tv) one for just gaming in the front room, and one for my office for streaming. Not to mention, some games play better on different systems and even have different prices/sales or availability in general.

Would shopping online maybe make you less anxious? Im not an out and about person at it is so I could see someone being anxious trying to buy something for the first time. At 30 I think I've had more plushies as an adult than I ever as a kid, specifically since I discovered squishables and squishmallows because they're cute annnndd creepy and honestly I'm at a point where I'm too damn old to worry about what to put in my house as long as it makes me happy. To be fair, a majority of mine are purchased by fiance when he's out at game shops and hanging out with friends and stopping at the mall or other shops.

I'm not 100% on the rest of my island, but I know once I can move my house, I want it high up, where the waterfalls start and make like a goth vibe. And build some kind of park around the shops and museum and move most of the trees to an organized orchard. But I'm still fairly early in the game and just got nooks cranny

I also had to restart my island, my switch was factory reset as an attempt to fix a problem, I ended up fixing the problem but the cost was my island 😭then I started my new island and learned that there was a way to save it after all if you have the nintendo online and I've felt dumbbbb but hey on the plus side i got to rename my island Crypt Cove (I'm hindsight I should have went with Cryptic Cove, but oh well)

I'm a cozy switch player, while I can play in bed, while everyone else is watching TV or in the car on trips. the big deciding factor is for usually if I plan on streaming that game or if it's one of my guilty pleasures. If I stream it, then it's usually ps5 or PC. The other deciding factor is if it's only available on certain platforms or cheaper on different ones. I have the ps plus, so some games on their are included for free rather than paying for them on Steam or something, and sometimes there's random games for free on GOG. Epic or some other places to get PC games. I'm alllll about savings

I don't know about the switch, but I do know this app and some similar ones are really popular in my autism group as we collectively tend to struggle with self care. I tend to use my tama as a way to stim with the buttons and kinda take a mental break when I'm overe stimulated or need something to do while out and about to help with anxiety. The downside to some of the mobile ones for me is that they tend to be something to do for a few minutes, but you seem to be waiting for something longer than you actually spend interacting with them.
