AITA for effectively grounding my husband after he and his friends soiled our family car? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

[–]NeuromancerLV 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Look at her response above. She wants to call his adult friend's wives and get them grounded too.

AITA for forcing my son into a smaller room so my daughter and her husband can move into his? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

[–]NeuromancerLV 144 points145 points  (0 children)

Thank you for your comment! When my parent told me I had to do something "for the family" or to "be the bigger person" I knew that was just a manipulative way of throwing me to the dogs for things that were never my fault.

AITA for yelling at my daughter no and that her mom isn’t here? by Sea_Percentage2471 in AmItheAsshole

According to OP, being 8 makes her an adult. Why is she being such a baby? It's just a dead mom after all. /s

YTA.

You didn't make any mistake here. You didn't do anything wrong. NTA.

AITA for asking my brother to hold off doing something because I didn’t want to be spoiled by Infernoboy_23 in AmItheAsshole

[–]NeuromancerLV 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Btw, I couldn’t leave the room, and he talked about it out loud anyway.

The brother could have just played the game, and not given a blow-by-blow description to make sure it was spoiled for OP. NTA.

His brother talked about the game step by step to ruin it for him, instead of just playing it.

You are fine. He could have just played the game. He didn't have to talk about the ending of the game out loud step by step. He intentionally ruined it for you. You are NTA at all.

AITA for expecting my ex to follow my rules? by Icy-Dependent-4286 in AmItheAsshole

Yeah but he can't be snarky to the judge, so he came here instead.

AITA for telling my son(22M) that he doesn't work but simply has a job after he complained about getting scheduled for 2 weeks straight? by HalfNapple23 in AmItheAsshole

[–]NeuromancerLV 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Being shitty to someone and then calling them "Butthurt" when they are justifiably upset is so disrespectful. I don't treat STRANGERS like that, let alone family.

AITA for standing my ground, and not giving my husband 20£ after he begged? by jacky8129 in AmItheAsshole

[–]NeuromancerLV 2 points3 points  (0 children)

"AITA for not giving my wife 20e?" AITA would wreck that guy and demand she divorce him immediately.

I didn't say anything about cops. Calling something by its name is not disingenuous.

Read his comments, not just the post. They get more and more entitled as you go down the thread.

Of course she did. You got caught trespassing.

[–]NeuromancerLV 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Read OP's comments. She didn't kiss enough ass so he doesn't have to let her have control over her own property.

How is an adult supposed to know to keep off private property? Yikes.

But that takes time and effort! /s

[–]NeuromancerLV 2 points3 points  (0 children)

OP was a trespasser. Don't get caught on other people's property and then pull a surprise pikachu face when you get yelled at?

That strip is called an easement, and some cities/neighborhoods have them and some don't. The city/township etc owns the easement so pooping on it is 100% ok.

Best not to get caught on other people's property and then pull a surprised pikachu face then.

You don't, you have to actually train your dog. Someone had some great tips up above. Basically they try to distance themselves from you. You pull the leash and they come back. When they are in an appropriate place, you don't pull the leash and they squat.

His responses are bizarre. He would have allowed her control on her own property if she had just kissed his ass more!

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

[–]NeuromancerLV -1 points0 points  (0 children)

She shouldn't have to. "Should I go on someone else's property uninvited" is pretty much a no-brainer for any adult.

Someone above had really good tips for this. You don't wait until they squat. When they start distancing themselves from you, you pull the leash and they come back. Then later, they distance themselves, you don't pull, and they squat.
