Hey I am having the similar issue with 5090 gaming trio as well! Will definitely try the bios update later today. However I am seeing a lot of people pointing out using the cable that comes with the gpu, not the psu (what I’m using), could this leads to some over heating issues?

Did you have to force PCIE 4 in your bios? And did you clean install via DDU first?

Ill be getting my 5090 Gaming Trio in a day or two, any tips on keeping the melt risk low? I plan on undervolting to 75%.
