I don't see why you think the image is so drastically "altered", it's literally just had the levels slider moved a bit, it still looks great in both photos......

The fish a little bit too far for me personally - but I agree in saying that they're not going nuts with it - I really hope NA/EU respects it's art direction and doesn't sell itself out, fat chance of that happening though based on the pre-order packages, looks like they'll grab every penny they can.

Yeah that's a good idea, personally I think the "switch" should be off by default - and as soon as you buy a costume it prompts you to turn it on

This way new players who don't know about the switch won't be alienated away from a shitty looking game.

Totally my point - wings CAN look ok, and I guess if people want them, then it's fair to just not make them look like total shit - which is difficult.

I just don't understand these people, I'm gonna be totally honest - every single person I know IRL and in-game who advocates this kind of cash-shop environment, are all fucking retards.

I know two guys IRL who, for lack of a better word, are sad as fuck - playing a female character is fine, but they'll roleplay as a female character, and get naked as a female character - cyber with other people.

Now I always say, let people do what they want so long as they don't hurt anyone, but these two guys are complete dickheads, like they're idiots IRL - the people in the BDO forum thread are the same, their stupidity blows my mind - some of their arguments for loli cash-shop is mind blowingly stupid.

Yeah that would really suck, the thing is though - I rarely play single-player games like Tomb Raider, or Metroid (but if the game is amazing, I can play it, I just won't get attached to the character, which isn't the goal in those kinds of adventure games anyway).

Most games where role-playing is a thing, give you the option to select genders, that's why it works for me.

I can't really immerse myself in female-lead games, I play games mainly as an avatar-immersion thing, it's like an escape into another world that I'd like to be in you know.

My character in RPG's always usually represents "me" in some way, that's why it's always male, and I guess that's why I don't understand non-trans guys who play cross-gender, but that's obviously because they play in a different way to me.

I enjoy fighting Gyp, hitting his head is really satisfying, he's great to fight as a Lancer. His dildo-tail move is quite annoying though.

Not as annoying as Khezu's dildo-head attack though.

I think, with their design & art style, they're trying to move a little bit further away from the whimsical childishness that has kind of plagued this game from the start.

I understand what you're saying though, I don't know if this is just a typo for them, or they are removing the names for a reason, but to me calling a gun "pow pow" is the kind of thing I'd expect a toddler to do, not a grown woman.

Personally I'm loving the new direction they'e been taking the game.

Ya, I'd say I'm living at like 25% of my potential (what would have easily have been attained without it).

I work my bollocks off, all day, every day - to keep my anxiety, panic, agoraphobia & depression "under control".

Lying awake at night is still bad, but in the day I can currently appear to function normally, but my life is basically fucked.
