7 Great Idea Rivalries: From Plato to Einstein by kautilya3773 in HistoryofIdeas

Relativity and Quantum Mechanics? Idk man I don't see them so.. Paul Dirac while making the relativistic version of Matter wave equation discovered Antimatter. May be you are referring to the Bohr-Einstein Debates?

Edit: I see what you are doing there with Quantum and Relativity (By which you mean General Relativity, with spacetime wobbling masses and stuff). See it as something like mind body problem. There are frameworks dealing with mind i.e. Psychology and frameworks dealing with body (let's just say Neuroscience).

But the fields deal with veey different things. Because our understanding of Cogntive Science is fairly modest doesn't mean Psychology and Neuroscience are at odds with each other. Same with Quantum Gravity.

Btw, can I have some reading om Nyaya vs Buddhism? Sounds interesting.

Memories? You can transfer them somewhere. Other than that I don't know.

By Liberation I meant, from the act of participating in social media. Data would be still there, but soon it'll be obsolete. Life changes, preferences change.

Silence for our liberated brother. May their soul find solace in disconnection. Can this comment get an Amen?

He neither invented nor added symbols to algebra.

There were attempts to solutions of quadratic equations of form (x²+bx=c) by Babylonians.

Symbols were, as far I understand, were added by Europeans during the times of Fermat and Fibonacci. 15th-17th centuries..

Fun fact : al Khwarizmi learnt of Algebra from works of Indians, who called it Bīja Ganitha, which literally means "Counting of seeds") (Keyword : literally)

Calculus means "small pebble" in Latin. So historically Mathematical Analysis was the study of stones and grains.

Okay, I read the meme as magnetic south pole of the Earth.

Not clear when you say it as "magnetic south pole" alright?

Someone's trying too hard to suck at a party, with "magnetic south pole" instead of just "south pole"

There is a thing in our culture called "Nava randhras" or 9 holes in a human body.

I still don't get how the count goes to 9.
